Located at 100 Collins Avenue Miami Beach, Prime Fish is part of the "Prime" Family
(Prime 112, Prime Italian, & Prime Fish) ... of the three, it's our favorite! Housed in the same locale as iconic Nemo's, Prime Fish pays great homage to seafood (while also serving the full selection of Prime 112 steaks for the meat lover in your group. The seafood menu retains a few Nemo's classics (Miso seabass, wok-charred salmon, etc),
and lots of originals. We enjoyed the following:
Complimentary bread (Oh the bread!!) - DELICIOUS hot baked rolls w/ fish spread! Yum!! Our group enjoyed complimentary "seconds".
Mango martini - icy chilled, tasty & refreshing ... a GREAT S. Florida cocktail
Watermelon 'tini - spicy & tequilla-based
Chopped salad - a Prime fish classic! A beautiful dozen ingredient salad. A great starter to share for a table of 4-6 people.
Tuna Poke (MP = $55 tonight) -- absolutely fresh, Asian, & delicious!! YUMMY!!
Fish & Chips - delicious, classically prepared, & easily enough for 2 people
Wok-charred salmon - a PF(Nemo's!!) classic
Grouper - blackened-style (Disclosure: I finished this entree myself!!)
Sweet plantains - Prime fish has a lot of yummy side dishes ... their plantains are probably the best in-town; the portion enough for 5-6 people
Peanut butter/Chocolate cheesecake - another Prime Fish classic. Yummy for 6 people
More than once, we've over-ordered at Prime Fish ... the portions, sides, salads, desserts are huge ... tonight we played-it-right (we showed restraint with: 1 side only, and some entree sharing) & managed to save room for 1 dessert (again, showing appropriate restraint). There's lot's to chose from on the PF menu, and the sky's the limit
eg. stuffed lobster $155, 1 colossal stone crab claw $65 etc) ... you can select delicious dinner choices in the range of $60 per person (drinks, tax, tip etc), or you can spend
well-above $100 per person (with delicacies of land or sea). either way, the meal is fantastic, the service highly professional, and the setting/ambiance is lovely.
I'd (continue to) VERY highly recommend Prime Fish!
