We returned one year after our first visit to this great restaurant and again, were not disappointed. The service was great and the food was excellent.
First the service:
The service is provided by an alpha server who has excellent knowledge of the product. The alpha server is aided by a number of other skilled service staff that provide the diner with an excellent experience. As soon as you are seated you have their attention, water is poured and a drink order is taken. From there you are looked after very well until dessert has been served and it is unfortunately, time to go
Then the Food:
The pasta is exceptional. It is handmade, fresh pasta that is served and hot and al dente. My party of three tried the garganelli bolognese, agnolotti del plin with black truffles and the cavatelli lamb ragu and they were all excellent.
2 home runs on two visits.

We went for thanksgiving brunch ; the food was delicious, with a very large variety of choices from seafood, to antipasti, to traditional American/continental breakfast , to rotisserie beef, lamb, turkey, grilled salmon, etc and desserts!!!!!
The restaurant is airy, with great natural light, feeling like in a garden, a kind of informality, a sense of community , diverse and eclectic guests. We love it all. And the service was great.
We also went to the member-only pool and the bar hidden between the pool and the beach walk: magical!!!!

Sure, the place is cute with all the lights and to be honest I quite liked the first time I went there, but this time it was like a whole different restaurant. We waited 45 minutes for our table, which was supposed to be reserved for 10pm. We saw many tables be seated before us of people who arrived later than us. When I asked the hostess about it, she "went to check" and came back only 15 minutes later after having passed be 5 times in the meantime, only to say it should be ready soon. They were out of the drink we ordered. The food took to long to arrive. By the time we started our meal it was around 11:30, we were so tired, just wanted to go back to the hotel and sleep. There are many great choices in Miami, this restaurant is likely to never see me again.
