I recently visited the Perez Art Museum Miami. While enjoyable, I wouldn't rush back to the museum, nor would I recommend it if you have limited time in Miami. Once of the many other art museums in the city would likely be better. The art collection is small, so you can see the entire museum in one trip, but not impressive. The parking lot was full/closed the day we visited so we had to park in an open lots several blocks away, which was a pain.

I really enjoyed my visit to Perez on a lazy Sunday afternoon in late January 2018. My only regret is that I couldn't spend more time roaming around and observing the exhibits.

That venue itself is quite gorgeous - situated on the water's edge, large, modern and welcoming. I did have the impression that the exhibits we're a bit sparse, but that could be because I'm so accustomed to my home museum. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor space, which had lots of places to relax and enjoy the scenery.

I would visit this museum again and would recommend it to others.

I would recommend visiting if you are into the art. They usually have very good artists on show. There is a restaurant on site, reasonably priced.

The museum site and building are wonderful, light filled, excellent exhibition space. The open theater is impressive, comfortable, great site lines and good acoustics. The art was not as impressive. “Fire” by Teresita Fernandez is amazing. also “painting without faith”, both so good they are worth the cost of admission. Easy parking, nice but expensive, cafe. Excellent outdoor seating.
