We have stayed at this hotel for the last five years during spring break. I realize that we are dealing with covid however the Hotel no longer has any type of service. We booked for connecting rooms in June 2020 for our stay in March 2021. When we arrived they had no reservations for connecting rooms the put us in rooms next door to each other. In our king size suite we had no phone no safe for our valuables. after complaining 3 times we were told there were no phone wiring for phone jacks for that room. And even though it indicated safes for all rooms this room had no safe. After contacting the manager she apologized and said she would reimbursed us travel points 40,000 travel points plus award us an additional 40,000.00 in which she did not. It is my thought if the room is not wired for a phone and has no safe that is a safety issue and management should not be allowed to reserve the room. The hotel no longer has food service the heated pool is no longer heated services are not offered. Renter beware no telephone in room 807 or safety deposit box. We were highly disappointed and will not be staying with the Radisson in the future. For being spring break hotel had only a few staff. The hotel was not full.

Room tip: make sure you have a phone in your room and safety deposit box

We read the reviews and warnings but opted to stay at the Radisson Suite Oceanfront anyway. It is barely 2 stars. Pro: view from the balcony. Cons: rooms need complete rehab including the balcony space, everything feels so out of date, no amenities but still charged the $12 per night resort fee, overall felt like an economy hotel. The couch in our suite was broken. We reported to the front desk but no action was taken. We were a little confused by the common microwave areas on select floors. Rooms have fridge but no microwave. The floor in the room was dirty. It is tile so may be difficult to keep clean in a beach property but we had to keep our shoes on at all times. ...bottom line is there is no need to choose this property when there are so many options offering a better value and decent stay.

We have previously stayed here 4 times since 2018 but the condition of the hotel is now HORRIFIC. As posted, there is no food and beverage service - but the vending machines are also broken. You are given a small plastic bag to put ice in but no container to place that in. Our TV never worked. In our room, family suite #208 there was no bathroom fan - but there is also no public restroom inside - you literally have to go OUTSIDE the building pool side. Speaking of the pool area - they have filled in the hot tub with concrete (looks lovely) all the chairs/tables are seriously rusted and awing's are torn and the pool is not heated. We went out to the beach, discovered towels at the front desk and were greeted with construction workers hammering and electrical sawing & sanding all day on a gazebo. I'm embarrassed to tell you I paid over $250/night for their family suite and when I checked out despite the above information and the fact that we are Radisson reward members and repeat guests the manager John Dodson - demanded I pay full price. I take no pleasure in this report as I am aware of the pandemic toll on this industry. The beach location isn't nearly enough, DO NOT STAY HERE its so very awful it will simply ruin the joy of finally being able to travel again.

We love the room, the balcony and the amazing oceanfront view! You also have direct access to the beach from the hotel. Overall a great place to stay. The only negative was, during our last stay, there were people smoking weed and cigarettes on the different balconies, even though it is not allowed and the hotel notice says they will fine you if you do. Unfortunately, we couldn't keep our sliding doors to the balcony open to enjoy the weather because of the smell carried by the wind and due to COVID and possibility of having to breath someone else's smoke.

Room tip: Get the family suite with bunk beds if you have children.

Believe the negative reviews. The hotel has fantastic views of the ocean but is in a very dilapidated condition. The first floor is shut down due to mold and renovations. There is no room service. All restaurants are closed. Save your money like I wish I did and book an AirBnb on the beach.
