Fudge was fabulous, on sale, three pieces for $15. Went back twice during the week to get more. Well worth the walk.

The store has candy, fudge, carmel apples, carmel corn, taffy and of course ICE CREAM !! Our favorite was the Toasted Coconut. Oh My YUM !!! Lots of good flavors to choose from. Not cheap though. I single dip in a dish is $5.xx --- if you want it in a waffle cone its like $6.50

We stopped by Kilwin's after a sunset cruise. They served our party of 10 quickly. The servings were huge, the ice cream was fresh and of high quality. The service was more than accommodating. We received a 10% discount by showing our cruise tickets. Delicious!

One of largest ice cream and chocolate shops around. Offers a/c! On boardwalk so bit pricier than strip of stores behind. Clean. Friendly. Offers Fudge, pretty chocolates and many ice cream flavors. Ask for a sample before making final selection.

What a pleasant surprise to find a Kilwin's Chocolate Kitchen and Ice Cream Shoppe while shopping and sight-seeing in John's Pass Village in Madeira Beach, Florida. Located at 160 John's Pass Boardwalk, on the intracoastal of Boca Ciega Bay between Madeira Beach and Treasure Island, Kilwin's is situated on the beach about 50 yards from the Gulf of Mexico. Opened in 2007, they make Mackinac Island Style Fudge the old-fashioned way, loafing it up with wooden paddles on marble tables. In 2010, they were named the "Small Business of the Year" by the Tampa :Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce. In the hot weather, however, Kilwin's original recipe ice cream is the most popular item on the menu--all 44 flavors. Our favorites are toasted coconut, chocolate chip, Georgia peach, strawberry crunch, cinnamon crumb cake, Mackinac Island fudge, raspberry sorbet, butter pecan, cookies and cream, chocolate chip cookie dough and fudge brownie. Other delicious options on the menu are chocolates, toffee, caramels, peanut brittle, caramel apples, truffles, clusters and creams. Who's counting calories? This Michigan-based chain has been doing business since 1947 and we're fortunate to run into a few of them in our travels. If you do, be sure to stop. The ice cream, fudge and peanut brittle is irresistible. You've never tasted better, even on Mackinac Island.
