My husband and I took our 6 year old son in early April. We all loved it and would highly recommend it. It was so cool to drive through and see all the safari animals up close. The CD that was provided for us to listen to as we drove was educational too. After the tour our son enjoyed the water slides and putt putt golf. Fun afternoon for all of us. We bought our tickets online and saved a few dollars on parking.

We are native Floridians and have never been here before! I think it was worth the drive from Orlando. The drive through safari was the best. The signs everywhere advise you not to roll windows down but there are a lot of people who take advantage of the rules and had windows down with cameras out the window. We even saw a vehicle stop just outside the lion gate and do a driver change!!! I hope this place has cameras in locations to catch theses people who do this stupid stuff. We obey the rules and get pictures behind the glass of our window while the rule breakers got great pics. The walk through zoo area was also interesting but not as entertaining as the drive through. There is a giraffe feeding area that is also great. Pay $2 to feed them. There is a small water area with 2 or 3 slides and a dry super slide.

Thank you for the feedback from your visit! Our staff are placed throughout the drive-through safari, and although they are able to prevent most of the rule-breaking, we do have guests that have a hard time following our posted policies. We are all in constant communication via radio, and guests (including those that made the driver switch outside of our lion section) are spoken to if the need arises. We appreciate your cooperation during your visit! Guests looking for an even more special experience during their visit can look into our Guided Photo Tour and other VIP and premium experiences. Thank you for visiting!

You drive through various sites and a CD they provide tells you all about the animals. The animals come right up to the car so you have to have all the windows up. The CD is very informative since some of the wild life I never new about

We visited Lion Country Safari with our grandchildren, ages 6 and 8. The duest portion of the visit was the drive-through zoo viewing a variety of wild animals in their natural habitats. This portion took about an hour & we were given a CD to play in our car as we drove through at our own pace. This was most interesting and educational. The next portion was more traditonal as we walked through a variety of exhibits of various small animals. Our grandchildren also enjoyed the water slides and splash park. Be sure to purchase tickets online for faster entry and discounts.

Thank you for taking a nice trip to see us with your grandchildren! There is something for everyone to enjoy here, and we are glad that you had fun in the drive-through safari and Safari World walk-through sections. You also provide a good tip for future guests that might consider the online ticket option. Thank you again for your review!

Not worth it.

Honestly, should not be more than $15 person....and even at that would be overpriced.

Takes about hour with traffic....and kids so blah after dint feel the need to deal with the petting zoo.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you didn't feel that you got the most out of what you paid to visit the park. There are coupons online and discount offers on occasion throughout the year, as well as group discounts for groups of 10 or more. Each admission grants access to the drive-through safari and Safari World sections of the park, and guests can even drive through more than once. Guests can even go straight to the walk-through section if they would like to enjoy that first. We suggest taking time to stop and view the animals frequently when driving through, as this will allow guests to see our animals interacting and exhibiting natural behaviors seldom seen in other settings. We recommend 4-5 hours for guests to fully enjoy the park, so we hope you can visit again in the future!
