Bring extra water hose and electrical cable, you may need it. All electrical and water hookups are on the wrong side, you have to fish everything under the Rv. Other than that great campground considering that they are rebuilding from a hurricane.

The resort has great amenities. We enjoyed the beach, pool, hot tub and restaurant. If you are renting an RV, and plan on cooking, you will need to bring supplies with you. The only thing they give you are two pans, 4 each forks, spoons, knives, coffee pot, can opener, spoon, spatula and knives. The beds are horribly hard. You may want to bring a foam pad. Grocery stores are about 20 miles away. I would stop in Islamorada on your way down. Overall the resort is fun and clean. My family had a great time.

Great amenities in a fabulous location mid-way through the Florida Keys with quick access to all the activities this area has to offer. We were able to make day trips to Key West, Key Largo, Miami, and many other locations with no trouble. The restaurant was clean and had great food for the whole family. We stayed one day on the grounds and took advantage of all the amenities and really had a great day without having to leave the property. The tiki bar was a great addition for an afternoon at the beach, relaxing while the kids were at the pool, or later at night for winding down after a long day seeing the sights. Clean facilities, great amenities especially the marina and small convenience store which had plenty of necessities to offer when in a pinch. Overall great experience, the whole family had a great time.

If you have a family and enjoy spending time with your family, this is not the place to stay. The limit everything. This place is for snow birds, retirement and/or those without families. In order to spend time with your family - if you're greater than 6, each family member MUST rent a site in order to stay AND visit. If your site has more than 6 people, no one will be allowed in. You're only allowed 1 car per site. So if you have a family member staying at another campground and you just want to spend time together - they cannot go in because you already have 1 car on your lot. Fiesta Key used to be FAMILY ORIENTED place. I've been staying her for many years and NEVER have have I encountered such an upsetting spring break. My kids wanted to spend time with their older siblings that wanted to pass by and visit and they were unable too without us renting another lot - mind you we have a trailer that fits approx 15 - even though they were just going to visit NOT SLEEP OVER - we had to rent a separate lot for the kids to enjoy time together AS A FAMILY.

To add - we rented an additional lot so that our kids could enjoy- which to add the lot was super small, the trailer smelled like poop and was dirty. I am not sure what the new owners are thinking - but I refuse to continue spending money on Fiesta Key and/or Sunshine Key (since it is the SAME OWNER with the same rules).

I would say I've been spending our family vacations down at the keys for over 10 years and never have I had such a bad experience like I did this spring break. My summer will now be elsewhere with my family. Hopefully when Sunshine Key opens - they see the lose of how many families will not return because many that I spoke too at Fiesta were unhappy with the turnaround.

If you want to have a getaway just you and your spouse - this is the place for you.

If you a FAMILY and want to spend time and enjoy FAMILY altogether - this is NOT the place for you!

The site was rebuild and reopened quickly. The location is wonderful, the contractor however put the utilities at the BACK fo the campsite instead of the left side standard. You will be running water and electric over your site or someone else's. If you have more the 25ft cables, bring them! The Sunset point was amazing, a crowd gathers every night to watch the sunset and it was friendly outgoing community.
