We recently had the pleasure of again having breakfast at The Pelican. I only get to stop there on my way from NY to Delray Beach, Florida.

We live in a time when restaurants call what they do to potatoes "home fries." They are not! The Pelican serves the real thing. They are fried perfectly with peppers and onions and they are delicious. This not meant to minimize the rest of the breakfasts. The eggs are always exactly as ordered and delicious. The blueberry pancakes are filled with blueberries and you can always get real maple syrup.

Even though it's only once a year, we always look forward to our visit and our greeting by the charming owner.

Had breakfast here twice during recent visit. Not only excellent food but even better service. A must for breakfast. Limited seating and cash only.

Sweet family owned restaurant and never tried curry for breakfast. Why not? Fun to try-the egg option one on the menu was very flavorful and I’m glad I tried. Loved the potatoes fried with onions in a skillet. The naan bread was cooked perfectly and the yogurt sauce was really good. (Wish they served a little extra) Loved the history behind the dish (mother in laws recipe). The kids and hubby ordered pancakes which were very good. They had B.B., plain and banana walnut which were all very large portions. The coffee was hot. Small joint so server was a little slow but understood. Cash only
Posted everywhere and ATM on site. Super close to our VBRO so that was a major plus. It’s right down from Starbucks too so we got a latte after. It all worked out and we were glad we could support
Local business (I know we support SB too)
Give them a try! We are glad we did!

Great place for the usual diner-style breakfast - good service, VERY friendly staff, tasty dishes, etc. But the real attraction is the Indian food. Don’t think you would like Indian food for breakfast? Think again. The omelets are terrific - just the right amount of ingredients from the sub-continent - can’t wait to go back! Note: Cash Only

We've been patrons of this place for years. The food -- with a variety of specials and some very yummy Indian breakfast fare, is always consistently good. Served in a timely fashion. The service is always great too. Even if we haven't been in in months, the owner always acknowledges us with a friendly hello and welcome back!! It's a neighborhood gem.
