Heard so much about the place when it opened so had to try. Party of four at 8:15, got there 30min prior but was told to come back at 8:15 so don’t plan on arriving any less than your reservation. No problems bc there is so much to see and do at the Springs. Quick to seat you when you come back and the staff lets you know that they know you are there and will attend to you. The drinks menu was far larger and more diverse than the food menu but was informed that the quality was focused on than the quantity...they were right! Salmon, meatloaf, and 2 prime ribs were ordered. Everything but one prime rib came out exactly as ordered. Both ordered med rare but one was far more rare than the other. Asked to fire the 2nd but came out blasted, my fault for doing that. Requested the ribs and they came out perfectly! The staff made sure that we were satisfied! Our server and manager was very attentive to our needs! Awesome job guys! Will recommend this place for service and quality of food/ drinks!

Our group was probably seen as the guests from hell. Our 24 person dinner grew at the last minute to 27, then a couple minutes later to 30. The area we had wasnʻt set to accommodate that many people, but the staff quickly figured out ways to add in a few chairs and then move over a table - everyone fit comfortably.

With people talking and moving around tables, it was a wonder the staff could get anyoneʻs attention to take drink orders - but they did and delivered them in a speedy manner.

Then it was time to take food orders - I donʻt think there could have been a group of more indecisive people. Again, staff was patient, explained things on the menu, took the orders, got it right and delivered it promptly. A+

Once the food arrived, things quieted down as everyone enjoyed and devoured their meals. I canʻt vouch for anything except the crabcakes which I ordered and which were firm, tasty, and filling - an all around excellent meal. I didnʻt here any complaints, just a lot of "yum."

So - kudos to the staff for putting up with such an eclectic group and doing their job so efficiently with no complaints, eye rolls, or attitude. (Whatever went on behind the scenes we totally deserved - lol).

Went for lunch on Easter Sunday with a reservation for 1:30. Got there at 1:00 and were told to come back at 1:30, as they could not accommodate anyone being early. At 1:30 we were walked downstairs to the main dining room where we were seated in the center of the restaurant. Soon after being seated water started falling from the ceiling and hitting my wife and son on the head. We asked for another table and were moved to the very next table. The manager came out and apologized. Within two minutes another family was seated at the same table we had just left. We warned them about the drips, as the servers and manager did not feel it was necessary to close that table. The servings are large, but the food is only average. Old Disney cartoons are playing on the wall, as if projected by an original Edison projector. The bathroom has unique sinks that spray water everywhere, so the floor is wet and slippery--be careful! The background music alternates from the 1920s to the 1950s, which is a little disquieting. I felt bad for the hostesses who had to walk up and down a very long flight of stairs for each table of guests. Their costumes are flapper minidresses, and they were significantly exposed when on the top of the stairs.

I've been eyeing up the Edison ever since we booked our trip to Disney, since it seemed to be a rather unique concept. However, I was admittedly hesitant to visit given the largely negative reviews. As such, we decided to limit our visit to having a few cocktails and enjoying the atmosphere. So take my review for what it's worth since we didn't eat here.
With that said, the cocktails were well made out of quality ingredients and spirits and I found them to be rather enjoyable. Service was quick and barkeep was easy to chat up. I was even visited by the manager on duty to make sure all was going well, which was appreciated.
I've got to admit, the theming here is really quite a blast. The backstory is that The Edison is supposed to be Disney Spring's old power plant, but in the transformation its become a bar and restaurant. It's got a very industrial, old-timey, steampunk feel to it. There are silent movies being projected on the bare walls. There is metal and rust and all sorts of things to fiddle with. The waitstaff plays their part as well with their 1920s style costuming. Steampunk has an edgy and sexy feel to it and the atmosphere here certainly reflects that.

Headed to Orlando to see my girls and got reservations at one of the new restaurants in Disney Springs. The Edison was everything it was advertised to be. Wonderful atmosphere. Food was great. Electric fries were the best. Girls got the burger and I got the fried chicken. Chicken was unusual, combo of white and dark formed into a large looking leg and cut in sections. Will definitely be back.
