The park was busy on a beautiful Saturday. Some parts (visitors center & trails) were closed due to COVID & hurricane damage.

Kayak rental was crowded & chaotic. At the kayak area there isn't clear signage that rentals don't happen there but rather across the street in the gift shop.

Tha kayaking was very enjoyable. The routes could use better signage to keep from getting out where big boats were speeding past with their full wakes.

Recently went on a snorkeling tour- the weather was beautiful, the water was calm but the trip was soured by the captain's need to offer commentary on the pandemic. The captain openly bragged to other passengers about not wearing masks during travel and not believing that COVID is a threat. The captain has a right to his views but the trip would have been far more pleasant if he left his politics on shore.

Great place to kayak/paddle board/swim among the mangroves!! Make sure you bring enough water/hydration - All the vending machines and the Visitor Center was Out of Everything!!

We received excellent customer service from the staff at the park. We rented a boat for the afternoon, and they were right there to help us and provide assistance when needed. We can’t wait to visit again and highly recommend using their boat rental service!
