Owner description: This is a great sea turtle rescue and conservation organization. They have a turtle hospital, viewing tanks, interactive exhibit hall, gift store and more. Public educational programs for guests of all ages are offered daily. During sea turtle nesting season (June & July), you can take a guided walk to watch the nesting turtles up close.

This was a neat, close view of Sea Turtles. We were able to watch the staff clean and administer medical attention to these beautiful creatures. This facility does some amazing work! This is an activity that is inexpensive, they accept donations only.

Not a place to spend all day bit definately a good stop for animal lovers and families with kids. Admission to this place is at will donation based and does an amazing job at explaining the story and care of each turtle. There are about 8 to 10 tanks with one or two turtles in each tank. There is a plaque describing each turtle's story and there were about 4 or 5 workers there caring for the turtles and teaching everyone about the turtles. There is a gift shop and a turtle hospital you can look at through a large window. There is a small snack stand and an educational area about turtles and marine life pollution. Plan on spending about an hour or 2 at the most (unless you really get talking to the workers) but I can't see this as an all day attraction. Please donate as this place is self funded.

Great place to learn all about local turtle nesting ground and turtle rehabilitation. Staff is friendly and informative. Museum is very educational. Gift shop a great go to place for gifts, clothes and trinkets.

I had mixed feelings visiting the turtles. These are magnificent creatures
That you can get close to and see their size. Sadness that our wildlife is hurt
By us humans. Propeller injuries, fishing line tangled around limbs, fishing
Hooks stuck in flesh leaving these creatures to starve to death. The carnage
To these beautiful animals is real.
Grateful to all the wonderful staff from the veterinarians to the techs to the
Wonderful volunteers to help out. The volunteers are wonderful and are
Knowledgable about the turtles. So thankful that someone is taking in these
Graceful creatures. It was worth the trip!

We always stop by when we are down on vacation. Always a lot of turtles to look at while they are healing. Very inexpensive!
