Fun family activity! Gorgeous scenery, knowledgeable captain, and lots of good gator sightings! We really enjoyed this and would highly recommend.

This is the best airboat tour in Florida. We had 11 people including 3 teenagers and 2 children. Captain Dwyane was awesome, knowledgeable, kind, experienced and engaged with the surrounds. I did a lot of research and went with Captain Mitch's for a couple of reasons. Smaller engines, still loud but didn't scare off the wild life like the busy " Highly Advertised" locations do.

The schedulers were also kind and very accommodating.

We saw tons of alligators, birds, ducks, Eagle, and never were bothered by another boat. It was as if it was a private tour. Dwyane told us about the environment, the changes and was always finding additional gators to watch and observe in their nature environment. He would cruise right up by them shut down the engine to watch and observe them close along with the birds..saw more alligators to count This boats don's scare them away. It was an amazing trip that i would highly recommend to others.

After the tour he brought out a baby alligator for anyone to hold and touch. The mouth was Not taped which we felt showed kindness and experience from this company. Everyone had a fabulous time. There were 11 people on the boat and we all had plenty of room

I've lived in Southwest Florida for 40+ years and never experienced an airboat ride until yesterday. My boyfriend's mother is visiting from up north and we decided this would be a fun first for all of us....and none were disappointed! We saw several gators and birds, and a special appearance of a roseate spoonbill!!! We all had a great time!!!

Actual tour was what you'd expect and could have been great. However, my family (with 5yo) had a terrible experience. The woman who checked us in was delightful, friendly, and helpful. But we later discovered that she forgot to give us ear plugs, honest mistake, I can't fault her. But we were completely denied them upon request when we got on the boat.

Upon boarding, before pushing off, we asked our captain if he had ear protection to give us (other tours I've been have handed out ear protection on the boat). He said, "no - we should have gotten some in the office" and that "they use a smaller fan that's not that loud, if it bothers us just plug our ears with our fingers".

Frankly, I think they were running a little behind and he couldn't be bothered to run up to the office to get us proper ear protection.

Not wanting to make a fuss, we decided to take the captain's word for it as we pushed off from the dock. Being seated in the back, closest to the engine, we tried to tough it out but only lasted about 10 minutes before we were forced to cover our ears with our fingers since it was getting painful. I am grateful that the captain did give our 5 year old his sound muffs, but should have never been necessary.

Needless to say, we were left irritated, ears ringing, and crappy feeling that safety was not a priority for this operation.

If you go, know you will not be getting sound muffs, and make sure to ask for ear plugs if they didn't automatically give them to you.

Two stars, instead of one because 5yo liked holding the baby alligator. But no ear protection completely ruined our ride. Wish I never spent my money here.

Our family of four incl two kids 11 & 8 did this 1 hour airboat tour on a recent weekday afternoon. We pulled in the drive off Hwy 41 on a whim to check it out. Read a few reviews on TA and was pleased that they did not force masks on their trips. Went inside the building and saw a Trump2020 bear on a shelf and that sold it for me....we're GOING on a tour with these guys. Made a res for mid afternoon. Came back at the res. time and paid (cash is cheaper than card). Got our hearing protection and about 10 mins later we loaded the boat and were off. Saw a bunch of gators, some within a foot of the boat. Saw lots of waterfowl. Got a good glimpse of the Everglade mangrove forests and grasslands.....wild Florida at its best. Tour guide made several stops to explain what we were seeing, had a quick wit about him which gave us a smile.

Hats off to these guys, keep it up.
