Early June FL schools are still in...so the first week of June makes Daytona Beach feel like a ghost town and because of that hotel room prices are extremely affordable. My family and I were traveling south to Miami Beach and Tropical Storm Colin hit...we needed a one night stay to break up the drive. My girls (wife and daughters) deplore interstate hotels.
This Holiday Inn's reception (Sierra) was gracious, friendly, and accommodating. The hotel was clean. It is on a huge and expansive beach...and like all FL beachfront hotels...it is a sturdy concrete structure that's built and maintained to withstand water, wind, and thousands of sandy guests.
Rooms and pool are clean. It is not fancy but it's not a dump. It met our needs and exceeded expectations.More
