One of the best restaurants ever . Everything is fresh and beautifully prepared. The bulgoki appetizer was especially good and so was the tomato pie. I’ve had the shrimp and grits entree and the fresh grouper now twice. The shrimp fish is a favorite. Tonight’s grouper was served in a dashi sauce and was perfection.

When I heard of the Fat Snook, my first thought was that they were borrowing from the much more famous Fat Duck in Bray, where Heston Blumenthal developed his version of molecular gastronomy and pushed the boundaries of food like few have done before or since.

But the Fat Snook has little in common with the Fat Duck. It derives its name from a local variety of Snook which swims around Merritt island, and its cuisine is quite good, but not at all adventurous.

Their version of Bulgoki was perfectly acceptable. The Mahi was good but the mild flavour of the fish was slightly over-shadowed by the pepper sauce, which had - for my taste - a pH a little too low. The gnocchi served with the fish were excellent, but the amuse-bouche,a blueberry/lime foam on white bread, didn't work at all.

I am not normally this critical, but the Fat Snook aims (and prices) high, and it doesn't entirely deliver what it promises.

We always come here for any anniversary or special occasion, they go out of their way to help celebrate your special occasion in a very classy discreet way. All the servers are so knowledgeable and attentive. The menu is constantly changing with the Chef's culinary visions. This is by far the best place in town. Not what you would expect from a sleepy beach town. They have an extensive wine list to compliment any dish!

This is probably one of the top restaurants in Brevard County even though it doesn’t look like one. It’s current location looks more like seeing a small old restaurant on one of the side streets of Lyon, yet the menu and staff tells you to imagine you are in the south France and to expect gastoral delights, which is what you’ll experience. This restaurant will surprise you with their offerings and is definitely not for the diner who is expecting spare ribs or fried chicken ..or expecting Olive Garden prices. Their wine offerings are excellent as well. Next year they will have a new home and location but don’t wait until then if you enjoy great cuisine!

This is hands down one of the best place we've eaten on our many trips to Cocoa. Our large party of 10 all ordered something different and everyone loved their dishes. Beers were good, desserts were good, ambience and decor were excellent, and the service was fantastic. Do NOT skip this place!!
