Owner description: With hundreds of things to do on Clearwater Beach, the main attraction is still pretty much its near-perfect beach (USA Today readers voted Clearwater Beach "Best Beach Town in Florida" in 2013). Beautiful white sand and clear, shallow water make this beach an ideal playground for families.

Loved visiting this beach. It was very clean and the sand was sooooo soft. It was a little busy, but it was spring break. We enjoyed eating at Palm Pavilion and checking out the shops.

A great day on the beach. Clean, pretty full (Friday, Spring break) but no noisy parties, just pure relaxation and fun.

Beautiful Beach! Go early to beat the crowds. The sand is very powdery soft. The water is clear. Plenty of shells to keep our children busy. The sunset at night is beautiful!

Famous for its sugar sands and as a destination for vacations. Clearwater does have a beautiful beach and lots of restaurants to eat at as well as staple such as frenchys for drinks and food. I prefer to stay at the Holiday Inn when we visit as you can get some private beach access which is nice. Clearwater beach at times is so busy you ay have to wait 40 minutes to get to the area. I suggest the free parking from downtown. The area is build ups so much s locals usually avoid the area during busy times. Mom and Pop hotels are a thing of the past although a few left over. Condo's own the beach and make it difficult to get a view from a car. The actual beach sometimes is also impossible to see as 100's of cabanas litter the view. If I had a choice I would stay in Treasure Island, St Pete Beach or Passagrill. Slower style would be Maderia Beach and Indian Rocks. All these are not as crazy as clearwater beach. Enjoy

The traffic on the causeway to the beach was busy during spring break. It is a very beautiful day at the beach with white sand and perfect 75 degree clear sky day. Plenty of space for you to bring your own chair/towel/mat or rent one of the blue umbrella by the Clearwater city. We went there during the spring break and although it was crowed, we feel that there are plenty of space. Parking was done on street at the meter ($1.25 per hour) and we got lucky to find a spot as someone was leaving. We went to Frenchy's for a cod sandwich and it was worth it. It was also fun to drive to the north beach residential area and see all of cute houses around there. Be sure to bring some snacks and water as you won't want to leave your spot once you are there. The view was truly breath taking.
