We were staying at a hotel within walking distance and read about this place on Trip Advisor. Way more than bar food! We sat at the bar and, at the bartenders recommendation, tried the buffalo cauliflower appetizer. Wow! So delicious. I had the fish and chips and he had the beet and goat cheese salad. Both very good choices. Upbeat music and very interesting artwork. Friendly bar crowd and we chatted with several locals. Extensive beer selection and full bar. Kelsey's Pizza and Pasta next door shares the same kitchen (different menu) if you prefer a more family friendly atmosphere. Lots of free parking. Highly recommend.

Cool Little Pub With GREAT FOOD & Very Cool AMBIANCE !!! They Offer Jumbo Deep Fried Wings Our Favorite Are The Asian Style With Mango Salsa. The Hell Fire Shrimp Are To Die For !! The Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers Kick Up The Heat, They Are Fantastic !!! They Offer Tons Of Domestic & Imported Beers. There Is A Small Shuffle Board & A Dart Board. The Interior Design Is Pretty Cool B-) They Have A Lot Of Repurposed Items Hanging From The Ceiling With Different Pieces Of Stained Glass. The Staff Are All Positive With Beautiful Smiles And They Make Sure You Having A GREAT Experience !! It Is a NON-SMOKING Bar ..So Smokers Have To Go Outside To Smoke. It's a Very Chill Place !! I've Never Seen Any Drama There ;-)

We are in town for one night before boarding a cruise ship. Got to the hotel too early to check-in, so stored the luggage with them and asked for a place for a beer and a bite to eat close enough to walk. Front desk mentioned Preacher’s Bar. Wow! Are we happy they did! Yes, it is a bat and grill, but the food is a big cut above what one might expect. I had a burger and my wife the grilled shrimp tacos. Excellent. Our waitress suggested the burger for me and sooooo happy she did. Cooked as ordered and all the trimmings. Great flavor as well. We sat next to the door to the kitchen, so I could see orders coming out...everything looked great! Now..let’s mention the beer...good selection of both local and national beers. Draft and bottle selections both available...cold with draft selections either 16 or 20 oz.

Our server was great as well...friendly...knew the menu...offered advice and was there when we needed her!

I give Preacher’s a thumbs up all the way around!

Menu selection was good and nice variety.
Service was punctual. It was after 9 pm when we arrived and the place was not busy.
Food arrived hot and in a timely manner.
It was nice to try and would go back when in town.

Good was good but service was quite slow. The prices were average for this type of restaurant. We would go back
