There is a wonderful small Thai restaurant right under our nose in Wilmington and has been there for 2 years. It is the Southeast Kitchen on Delaware Avenue near Trolley Square. The Banh mi was terrific, with crunchy roll, as well as the Pho was wonderful and the spring rolls too. This is a modest place. It has about 12 small table which can be pushed together. No tablecloths, no frills, no alcohol and no alcohol 'de-capping' license. or whatever it is called, when the buraucrats permit a restaurant to open a bottle the customer has brought in himself....so, it's water or soft drinks....Walls are painted in shades of plum color to pink and benches along the 2 walls and chairs and tables are dark and all together it looks attractive. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating and patient. Drawbacks are: parking is on the street and when they get busy, they don't answer the phone to take a take-out order, so you have to mosey on down yourself and wait .....and/or eat there.
