Wonderful atmosphere, great food. My husband ordered the steak and loved it. The flour-less cake was wonderful, it tasted just like fudge. Our service was a tad slow compared to neighboring tables, but it may have been due to our order. We were not in a rush. A few other parties had small children that were getting stir crazy waiting for food and it was a bit cramped to allow kids to roam around. Not really recommended for small children.

Kindle is a cute French-inspired bistro with a focus on local flavor. Prices are decent, including the champagne selection.
The service was friendly and knowledgeable, and we didn't wait more than 10 minutes for a table during the weekend lunch rush. We spent that time in local shops and were called on our cell when our table was ready.
The gruyere mac and cheese was delicious without being too rich or salty, and was perfect for sharing. I had the Dublin Pork sandwich, which was tender and well-seasoned. My boyfriend had the Kindle burger, which was ground chuck and short rib, and he loved it. Even the bacon was high-quality.
We would definitely eat here again!

We dined on a Friday night. It was fairly busy, especially the bar area, but the noise factor that others commented on was just fine. I'd rather a place be active than dead quiet. It's been a couple of days since we dined at Kindle, and I have to say nothing really stands out as compared to other places I dines at over the same period of time. Food was very well prepared, service good, but there was no extra touches or outstanding dishes that really was memorable. We will probably go back sometime, but certainly it's not a must do.

Lewes is a quaint little town with some terrific restaurant offerings. Kindle did not disappoint. The food was delicious and plentiful, and our server could not have been nicer. We really enjoyed the little covered patio area, would most definitely come back!

We had lunch and the food was adequate. After a few tables got full the restaurant got noisy and it was difficult to have a conversation.
