It a great park for a short walk, family outing, watch a ball game, hike the many trails, nice play area for kids and they can feed the ducks; lots of parking; hiking trail takes you to a lake, not for swimming, but beautiful vista.

Nice trails to run on after flight into Bradley Airport. Could spend an hour or a day here. Would love to come back with the kids.

My son told us about this park so we went here on a Saturday afternoon with our dog. There are a lot of trails, a dog park, picnic tables, soccer fields and a mini animal petting area. At the nature building there are maps so you can pick the length and duration of any trail..Didn't really know what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised by all the things you can do there. We will definitely go back and hike and bring a lunch, too. Beautiful park..

Nice park with several hiking trails. If you are a local or staying in Windsor area for business, you should check it out.

Northwest Park contains a number of biological ecosystems situated along the Farmington River the numerous trails are a fine way to get some exercise. There is a nature center, a small petting zoo for younger children who find that quite enjoyable, check their website for various events like Maple sugaring, cross country skiing, pancake breakfasts, and various musical events throughout the year. The trails are well-marked, there are brochures as you walk into the Park area, there is plenty of parking, and there are a number of fields where are the local teams play or you can pick up a gay man enjoyed family field day of soccer. As a windsor resident this is a great park for us to enjoy
