Worst pizza I’ve ever had and I like pizza! Good pizza, and traditional as well as unique offerings, thin crust or thick all satisfy my occasional cravings. Understand I know my way around and many variations, including those served up by some of the Boston area’s best sources. Thought the California Club might be a tasty, different choice. It arrived and was barely warm. In fact it was dried out, stiff and buried under a carpet of arugula. With the first bite I knew I had not only made a bad choice, but surmised the base pie had been previously cooked, set aside and reheated once an order came into the kitchen. It was like eating a shingle with little flavor or life, but for the flavor of the arugula and dressing piled on top. Not good. Never again there.
