I have always found Microtel locations to be clean and professionally run. The Georgetown, Colorado location is no different. It seems to be a recent build that is easily accessible from the interstate. It is quiet and secure. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable of the area.

Reservation was changed during check in because I had brought my dog. Pet owners/parents should not be treated differently...stuck on the first floor with limited views, and actual bad pet owners. Because of allergens, in a post-Covid-cleaned room?

Good stay in Georgetown. I needed a hotel for 5 nights but initially only reserved for 2. After the first night I reserved 3 more through the PriceLine website. This seemed to cause some confusion with the front desk staff -- as only 1 more night was added to my key card.

Great hotel for the price and location! Only a short drive to Loveland ski resort. Hotel was either maintained extremely well or newer but the overall was great. Staff was friendly and the hotel as a whole was working hard to keep everyone safe but offer as many services as possible during Covid.

2021-April, party of 3. Mask is required in all public spaces.

We arrived around 11:00 p.m. on a Friday night. Lots of parking. Check-in was a breeze. Front desk was very pleasant.

She mentioned that the pool/hot-tub opens at 9am-9pm and it's by reservation only to comply with Covid rules. Pool towels are provided by the front desk. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to check out the pool/tub area.

Coffee, tea, hot cocoa were available at the lobby. We were given bottled water upon request.

The room was clean, modern-looking, and efficient. See the photos I've attached.

Bathroom has 1 sink and not enough counter top space for my toiletries. However, they have provided a hanging shelf for your stuff. Complimentary hotel-size bath toiletries were provided. Shower pressure was decent. No bathtub, just stand-up shower (which was ok for us). 4 towel sets and hair dryer were provided.

The room was normal-size. TV, microwave (that has an outlet & usb outlet in the front?- gotta google what it is for), 2 chairs, a desk, mini-fridge, 1 night stand between the beds. And one thing you don't see often, a seating window bench!

Nightstand has 2 electric outlets under the lamp. Desk has 2 electrical outlets and 1 usb outlet. Microwave has 1 electric outlet, and 2 usb outlets (yes, i said microwave, see photo).

TV had lots of channel. Thermostat was responsive.

Breakfast was grab-n-go. Muffin, cereal, drinks, granola bars.

Have a pleasant stay!

If you think this review helped you in anyways, please give it a thumbs up.
