This trail, which runs along Hwy. 40, is a good introduction to hiking at elevation; if you aren't a veteran Colorado hiker or biker, it is a nice gentle way to get used to the elevation and still get a little exercise. It is a gravel path that has gentle hills and valleys, and since it is in the Fraser Valley, the scenery is lovely. The trail is for hikers and bikers, but we didn't see anyone else on the trail when we went. For bikers, it is about 16 miles of trail between the two towns. We didn't hike the entire way, but we could see most of it from the highway, and it looks well maintained.
