This was my 2nd time and our friends 3rd time on the under 12 float. I have an 8 year old and 12 year old who have never been white water rafting and this was perfect for beginners. Our guide, “Kumar,” was more than awesome! We could tell from the start that we would all be safe on this trip with him as our guide. We had 8 in our party and he put us all in one raft which made this even more enjoyable for the kids. We had 4 adults and 4 kids ages 8-13. My 8 year old sat in the middle and didn’t have to paddle- she enjoyed the ride as a passenger for sure! Now my 12 year old thinks she wants to go on the extreme white water adventures. Your guide can make or break your trip- and also pay attention. None of us have ever fallen out on this one but it does happen. The bus ride was also fun due to the fun personalities of the guides who work here!
A1 rocks!!!

Emerson and the team provided us with a great half day experience - with beautiful, scenic views, and crisp cool water. Would definitely do a full day trip when our kiddo is a bit older. A lot of fun!!

We had a great time, and our guide Matt was very experienced, funny, and safety conscience. This was his third year to be a guide, and it was obvious he knew the river well. We booked the full day trip, and while it was lots of fun, I think I would suggest to others to just do the half day afternoon trip. The morning half was FREEZING, it was much better in the afternoon. Plus, I pictured us going on a long day trip trip, pulling off just long enough to eat lunch and have a little break. But we were actually taken on the bus to a picnic area (lunch was great!) and left for 1.5 hours while the bus went back to town to drop off/ pick up , and then we just duplicated the morning raft ride. The break was too long, which is the only reason I gave 4 stars for the full day trip. Eveyone was very nice and professional, and we had a great time, especially on the class 4 rapids.

We went on the full day rafting trip through A1 Wildwater Rafting and had a wonderful time! Emerson did an outstanding job as our guide. Despite going over some intense Class IV rapids, he gave great instruction and kept us all in the boat. Some of the other boats weren't as lucky! And our boat worked together to pick up a few rafters who had fallen in the river. Ian led the safety talk and did a great job letting us know what to expect and how to manage falling into the river. I highly recommend the full day of rafting. It includes a delicious picnic in a scenic spot and gave us plenty of time rafting. We can't wait to go back!

Our white water rafting trip with A1 came at the end of a 10 day family vacation. We all wanted one more adventure before the long trip home and A1 did not disappoint. We were all first time rafters and this trip gave us a great taste of whitewater rafting without being too crazy. Our guide Cullen aka Baby Bear was fantastic! He had our three children (ages 9, 13, and 16) in the back of the raft with him and he was great at making sure they were having fun and also staying safe. The water level was low during our trip so we experienced more obstacles than what would be typical for this time of year but Baby Bear did a great job at navigating us around them. It was a great first time rafting trip and I'm glad we chose A1!
