Small, intimate, with only downside is that there are few seats. Great sound, sight lines and an excellent indie line up of artists- recently saw a sold-out Brian Jonestown Massacre show there. Highly recommended.

We walked in a the place looked like a fresh paint was recently done, most small neighborhood venues are a bit beat up in downtown, so many shows and paced houses.

We really enjoyed the layout, great view from floor due to cascading flooring, nice railing to lean on when your tired or grooving. balcony is nice too. We enjoyed our evening, very mellow staff and small enough not to be overwhelming. our show was sold out and felt like they keep the max true, so we didn't feel sardined into the venue! Love it and will be back to see another show!

What a cool and intimate theater! It felt like a throwback in time, with such a down to earth vibe, and what an appropriate setting for my favorite artist of all time, Jess Glynne!!

It's 400 capacity, and I've never had such good 'seats' (it's standing only - although there were some bar stools in the back and the balcony). You are so close to the artist, there's no need for a jumbotron. The sound system was great and pumping all night.

We didn't experience any rudeness from the bartenders or the security, perhaps because all of us Glynners are a well-behaved, respectful crowd ;O)

The drinks are not bad either, we got the Svedka specials for $6 each and they were healthy pours.

There are no coat checks, but there are hooks and railings you could place your coats on.

The reason it's not a 5-star review is because their ticketing system through AXS is horrendous. The website is not very informative as we found multiple different will call times online and hoped to look to their website for some guidance which was nonexistent. Called the theater only to be sucked into the automated system or busy tone. We ended going and waiting in line at 8 (that was the general consensus on the interweb), only to have will call ticket window open up at 9, when the show was suppose to start. We were freezing waiting in line for an hour. Ugh.

Sure there are not pyrotechnics, but it you want to see your favorite artist in a close setting while feeling a little nostalgic, Bluebird is where it's at!

Denver's Bluebird is NOT a Nashville franchisee! It is an old movie house venue that is a mandatory pathway for all of Denver's local rock and pop music groups on their way to national success. And, they always come back, even after making it HUGE. The music is only as good as the band on a given night, but the venue is always right.

You can't be turned off by the looks of the place, there are some amazing artists that come play at the Bluebird, a Denver's must see!
