Not sure how we found this place but I'm guessing some positive reviews. We were looking for some local cuisine and found it in a German Biergarten. Try the elk sausage. It was outstanding. Add in das boot with a local beer and it ended a perfect day in Boulder.

We made a last minute reservation for 30 and they did not even blink to say NO PROBLEM. The whole party was welcomed with open arms and the waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and our needs. If you have a big appetite, have the sausage platters! Well worth it. And if you can make happy hour...do it. Saves you money!

We actually ate here twice in the 4 days we spent in Boulder. The food was excellent. I lived in Germany years ago with a family and the food was as good as home cooked meals I ate there. We were very impressed. It's traditional seat yourself at long table atmosphere. Nice draft beer list. Friendly staff. Monday's they have Stamm-tisch but we missed that. Prices very reasonable for nice sized portions. Would eat here again next time we visit Boulder.

Loved this place! Everything from the decor and atmosphere to the great menu of German beers to the authentic recipes for entrees is spot on. We just popped in to see what they had and glad we did. The wonderful German food on the menu are meals you can't get anywhere else in Boulder. The goulash was great and the prices are too.

Went on a Tuesday when they have any das Boot for $8. Almost three beer for $8. Unreal. Very friendly staff. Sausage and spatzle were delicious. We had one wild boar sausage that was unreal !
