We only visited the Monarch because the buffet every night included prime rib, crab legs and whole lobster. Of course, you could only have 1 lobster, but everything else was all you care to eat. We played the slots long enough to qualify for the new comers free buffet. The lobster was not large, but it was good, and if you preferred, you could have a tail instead of the whole lobster. The crab legs were fixed and served well, but he prime rib was over cooked and dry. I even asked if they had any that were medium rare, and was told that they were all the same. I waited until they brought out a fresh one and when they cut it in half, saw that there was no red meat, even in the center. The buffet was very limited in other options, but the other food was good. I would have been very disappointed, had I paid the twenty something dollars for the meal. I only rated it very good, because where else can you have a prime rib and crab leg buffet with a whole lobster?
