We chose this hotel because of the location in Yountville - it is within walking distance to everything but on the edge of town and right next to the highway. It is majorly overpriced and not worth it - you can definitely find a better place to stay in/around Yountville - I even stayed once at the Best Western which was fine and affordable.

We got there at 3pm but were told by a snobby man with sort of a shrug of the shoulders that check in wasn't until 4pm so we'd have to come back. I was immediately turned off - no offer to hold our luggage while we used the pool, no "how about a glass of champagne" (which was sitting out), other apology or even directions to where the pool was - in fact when we got there someone had to let us in because we didnt have a key.

We went to the pool which is tiny and cramped. There is no locker room - only 2 single bathrooms which always seemed to smell. A limited number of chairs that were always taken, very little shade, no suntan lotion provided, towels usually out, etc. The vibe is like a cheap motel that has been done up with tacky decorations. It's not relaxing at all because the chairs are all so close to each other and people and kids were very loud, canonballing into the pool, etc.

The room was fine. We got a step up nicer room and shouldn't have bothered. Loud air conditioning that dried the room out. Again, felt very much like a cheap motel. The workout room was the most depressing workout room I have ever seen.

Overaly, just a real disappointment. I felt totally mislead and baffled by the good reviews. The whole time I was there I felt gross about how much money we had paid for what we got. Would not go back.

This will be my go to hotel anytime I visit the area! Perfectly located in Yountville - an easy walk to downtown. The rooms were wonderful and fully appointed. The pool, complete with bar service was a great way to just RELAX. We opted to forego the wine tasting opportunities and stick with wine DRINKING. HA! Can't wait till next year's visit.....

My wife and I started our honeymoon here and it was perfect! Our room had a beautiful view of the sunset and vineyards. The plethora of great restaurants nearby means there's almost no wait for dinner. Don't miss breakfast, it's an amazing spread of local fresh fruit, fluffy eggs and fresh coffee. We were actually sad to leave and continue our honeymoon but look forward to the rest of our lives together. We'll certainly be back for our anniversary

Stayed for three nights in July. Dino greeted us so warmly when we arrived and was really helpful. We stayed in room 44 which was on the second story overlooking the pool. Although the property is not that large it has so much charm. The room was very large and had a vaulted ceiling. The pool area and gardens are lovely. The rate included a great breakfast. Overall, a great stay and would definitely stay again.

Stayed at this wonderful boutique hotel for our anniversary. Was upgraded to a suite with an amazing bathroom and sitting room. The location could not be better as we walked to dinner 3 out of 4 evenings (AdHoc, Bottega, and a french restaurant.)
Lovely pool and perfect location to begin and end your Napa travel.
