We stopped in here yesterday at the recommendation of other folks at a different winery during conversation. Glad we did. This is no opulent joint with grandiose views and expensive cheeses. If that’s what you want, don’t bother. But, if you want an education on what wine making used to be before some made wine making a science experiment, stop in and experience clean, beautiful wines. We bought a half dozen and joined their club!

If you like good wine and are traveling through the Sierra Foothills, make sure to stop at Cantiga Wineworks. Cantiga produces superb wines with much care. The folks there are very friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful. You'll taste some excellent wines paired with food samplings. Our favorite winery!

Some of the best wines in the region. Made the old world style. Nothing added. These wines will store for decades. Cantiga is the only wine club I belong to because I only buy and drink aged wines. These I will drink anytime.

Always a pleasure going to Cantiga, and experiencing European wines with friends & family, hard to come by in California.

Super friendly staff! Love how they pair each glass of wine with food and give you a history lesson at the same time! Amazing wine!
