I had an hour or so to spend before dinner and was able to drive up to the park and explore. I took a 2 mile hike and had a great time. A very nice park with many varied hiking and biking trails.

At the Joice Bernal Ranch historical site (San Ignacio and Manila Drive) there are at least 6 Pokémon stops for players. There you also learn about early ranching days of the Bernal family and may be able to tour the barn and residence. Of course there are hiking trails, ranging from mild to strenuous. Often, one may see deer and wild turkeys and turtles in the pond. It's truly a hidden gem in South San Jose.

If you have time, this is a good place to hang around from the normal routine or work. It's good to get fresh air and enjoy the walking in the nature to get more exercise.

Santa Teresa Park has some wonderful trails with great views of the Santa Clara Valley. In the spring there are lots of wildflowers to enjoy. There are some easy trails but most are moderate to strenuous. Also, most trails are very exposed, not much shade at all so this park is best visited in late fall, winter or early spring when the temperature is on the cooler side.
