The personal attention lavished upon us from the moment we arrived at the Canyon Villa was excellent. The property is gorgeous and meticulously maintained. The rooms are lovely. What makes it extra special is the delicious cuisine developed by chef/owner Wills, who makes delicious breakfasts each morning and the service provided by his wife Katherine. We opted for a Valentine's dinner prepared by him and it was an evening that we will long remember! No children, no pets and no TVs make for a quiet, relaxing respite after busy days in the Paso Robles countryside.

I don’t know what else to call our stay with Kath and Wills - everything was Perfect.
The location was perfect - woke up to a stunning view of the rolling hills of Paso Robles covered with vineyards. Reminded me of Tuscany. Plus you were close to everything, but away from the hustle and bustle.
The room was perfect - we had a king bed (the Siena suite) huge shower, whirlpool tub, plush carpet - wonderful!
Then the food - wow, just wow!
We had Sunday Supper at the Villa - Chef Carter (former executive chef at the Playboy mansion) prepared a spectacular meal, all the guests brought a bottle of wine, so did Kath and Wills. It was great sitting around the table, enjoying a wonderful meal and talking to the other guests.
Then there are the breakfasts that Chef Carter prepared. I’m not sure which one I liked best. They were all delicious, and we were so full we didn’t eat lunch. Plus, eating out on the patio, watching the hummingbirds and goldfinches made for a wonderful start to the day.

All in all, all I can say is just go! You will have a wonderful time.

My husband and I found this beautiful gem and can't say enough amazing things about The Canyon Villas. Chef Wills and Kath were genuine hosts who truly know the meaning of hospitality. Their attention to detail made our time there very special. We spent a day cooking with Chef Wills in "kitchen stadium" and it was neat to see his creativity come alive as he shared his years of culinary knowledge with us. The food was spectacular and absolutely beautiful. A true work of art made by an artist. We also loved Sunday Supper as we were able to share a meal with Chef Wills and Kath that he prepared. We also enjoyed telling stories and just chatting with them. Chef Wills and Kath know how to do it right and we are forever grateful for the time we were able to spend at The Canyon Villas. Add it to your bucket list. You need to go. We hope to return.
