Like I said before, been coming to Gianni's from almost the time they opened. Whenever I come back home, they are always a must visit. Sometimes little to no change is a good thing. They still are old school, and the food reflects it! While they have a good variety of things, I always go traditional. Pepperoni pizza, couple of bread sticks (which could be a meal by themselves), black cherry gelato (YUM!!). This time I was a Sunday evening walk in, so I had to wait almost an hour for my order, which I didn't mind. I just sat out front and took in New Monterey. If you're on a schedule they take phone in orders and I see they do Grubhub, but for me that family atmosphere is worth hanging around. Still the best on the Central Coast!

Went for take out dinner. Ham sandwich was more than I could eat. Pizza great, salad huge. Definitely recommend

This is your typical home town pizza place. They are generous with the toppings. The breadsticks are huge! We did carry out pizza and enjoyed it. Busy place. Glad we ordered ahead online so we could just pick up when we got there.

I really enjoyed the salad we got!! The pizza was just ok which was a disappointment cause friends of ours raved about this place. The place was super busy on a Saturday night and it took double the time promised to get our pick up order. Overall I wouldnt go back cause the the pizza was just ok.

Trip Advisor Good Grief you can do better! We had dinner here the one night we stayed in Monterey and oh what a mistake that was. Staff was friendly but the pizza was NOT good at all. I am certainly no pizza expert but it was bland and between the 3 of us none of us enjoyed our meal. I would definitely look elsewhere as there certainly has to be somewhere better in Monterey to eat than this place. Sorry it just is NOT good.
