Due to a major power outage because of a storm, my husband and I decided to get a room in our own town. I had some issues while trying to book on-line. I called the Motel. Not only did they honor the web price, but upgraded us to a lovely room upstairs. Rooms are newly remodeled, very stylish and comfortable. Vaulted ceiling fireplace, very cozy corner room. We enjoyed it so much we want to go back for a date night.

The Munras Inn was awesome! The room felt huge and luxurious. The bed was so comfortable, the fireplace was excellent, and the shower was massive. The noise level through the walls was minimal. It was always quiet and felt very private. The hotel was also easily within walking distance from downtown and everything Alvarado street has to offer. This hotel is well worth the its reasonable prices. We could not have been happier.

We were very surprised at how large the room was. Very clean and well decorated. Try to get a room on the 2nd floor nice vaulted ceilings with a fireplace. Nice area and friendly staff. Don’t expect much from the breakfast. Overall much better than expected for a budget motel.

Well located basic hotel in Monterey. Very clean, spacious rooms. They offer some items in a buffet style for breakfast but it is not a meal at all. If you don't mind about that, consider staying here. No frills, no hassle.

We booked this hotel based on the good reviews and Trip advisor reviews very dissatisfied. The place is dirty and in a need of maintenance. Our bed is a old saggy mattress, pretty sure the sheets weren't clean because they are covered in long black hair. The lighting is horrible..flood lights. I'm skeeved. out. Location is great but they need to work on things.
