We’ve eaten here twice. The food is consistently good, hot and delicious.

It’s located at the busy intersection of 7th and Bellflower, not exactly scenic, but the interior is nicely decorated, the tables have lots of space between them and the service is very good. It hasn’t been busy both times we were there, which is a mystery.

We ordered Crispy Spring Roll, chocked full of vegetables with a nice dipping sauce. Fried Calamari, which was appropriately crispy and hot.

We tried the Angel Wings with is a hallowed out chicken wing stuffed with ground chicken and vegetables. It was okay, but we decided we wouldn’t order it again.

The Fried Soft Shell Crabs were good. The Coconut Soup with Shrimp was really good, flavorful and spicy, but not too much. The server asks how hot you want it, so you do have a choice. We asked for medium and it was plenty spicy.

The Lard Nah had big noodles with broccoli and a gravy. I wasn’t crazy about it.

The Chow Mein with pork was really good. I would definitely order it again.

I also ordered hot green tea and got an actual pot of it, instead of the new trend at Asian restaurants where you get a cup.

We really like Thiptara, which means magic water, a lot. It’s our go to Thai restaurant now.

Thank Constance M

I had the green curry. It was average. Nothing to write home about. Hard to believe it is one of the best in Long Beach, as a google search might have you believe.

I was worried when I saw the notice for change of ownership in the window, but the new owner was wise and seems to have kept the kitchen staff/chef. Delightful Chicken Panang curry- the best combination fried rice-- lovely beef & chili and love the Yum Nuah salad. They'll make it mild, medium, spicy or extra spicy. Really like this Thai jewel.

Nice selection of lunch specials at $9 (drink not included). Girlfriend had the Pad Kee Mao, which was OK, but not outstanding. I ordered the the Beef Panang Curry which was very good. Lunch specials include appetizer (one) and rice. You can have orders as spicy as you like but our orders were mild and medium and they weren't spicy enough. Had the eggroll and it was homemade and very delicious. Not much of a egg roll person but they were GREAT!! Thai Iced Tea $4, large glass. The Angel Wings ($8) were OK but pale in comparison to Long Beach Thai. Service was both friendly and attentive & very roomy. Ambience was lacking. Lots of tables. Off street parking. Will be back. Next time will do take out.

We went for dinner and the food was average. The Pad Thai was blah. I have had better at PeiWei. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was good.

Everything was an extra fee. Rice was extra.
