We’ve eaten here twice. The food is consistently good, hot and delicious.
It’s located at the busy intersection of 7th and Bellflower, not exactly scenic, but the interior is nicely decorated, the tables have lots of space between them and the service is very good. It hasn’t been busy both times we were there, which is a mystery.
We ordered Crispy Spring Roll, chocked full of vegetables with a nice dipping sauce. Fried Calamari, which was appropriately crispy and hot.
We tried the Angel Wings with is a hallowed out chicken wing stuffed with ground chicken and vegetables. It was okay, but we decided we wouldn’t order it again.
The Fried Soft Shell Crabs were good. The Coconut Soup with Shrimp was really good, flavorful and spicy, but not too much. The server asks how hot you want it, so you do have a choice. We asked for medium and it was plenty spicy.
The Lard Nah had big noodles with broccoli and a gravy. I wasn’t crazy about it.
The Chow Mein with pork was really good. I would definitely order it again.
I also ordered hot green tea and got an actual pot of it, instead of the new trend at Asian restaurants where you get a cup.
We really like Thiptara, which means magic water, a lot. It’s our go to Thai restaurant now.
