We moved here after a disaster next door at Tamu Resort. Ren is a complete contrast - in the very best way!

The English managers were genuine and warm, and the gorgeous staff appear devoted to them. Unlike the frosty chaos at Tamu.

Food and wine were perfectly adequate, the pool is superior too, especially from our room which had a deck direct to the pool - one of three such rooms.

Room Tip: Poolside is best

The rooms are big and convenient! The pool is huge and the facilities are excellent! The staff are super nice and helpful! Perfect for vacation!!

So the night before we arrived here we had spent the night in a cheap bungalow on Koh Rong and got the ferry back to Sihanoukville at midday, immediately grabbed a $10 taxi driver to bring us to Rens and it was like being back in civilisation, our room for $70 a night was amazing and you could swim up to the patio doors of our room, the service as usual made us feel like rock stars and we were gutted to leave, but the goood thing about Cambodia is you always know the next place is going to be better than the last!

We stayed at Ren Resort for 4 nights. There were a few minor hiccups with the room when we arrived but were sorted out the following day. We realize that this is a new hotel and overtime, the place will get better. The location of the resort was ideal for us. The resort is outside of the busy backpacker area and the beach in front of the resort is beautiful and super quiet. I think the staff is what makes this place so special. If there was ever an issue, they would listen and would address it promptly. For example, there was an issue with internet in some of the rooms and by the following day, they installed a new router to speed up the internet and increase access to the rooms. They were also very friendly and accommodating at all times. One staff member, Reach is a gem. He was super friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him. He also booked a boat tour for us and did a superb job organizing and ensuring that our needs were met on the tour. Thanks Reach! Next time we are in Sihanoukville, we will definitely stay here.
