My husband had a conference for work and myself, baby, and dog decided to join and enjoy Lake Natoma while he worked. When we checked in the baby was really fussy, so my husband thought they said a $100 pet deposit and $30 per night charge... turns out that $100 is just a pet fee. Who charges $100 for a pet AND a nightly rate? I can totally understand a deposit in case the pet pees or destroys something, but seriously? It cost us $190 to have our four legged companion with us- that is more than her adoption fee!
In addition, it’s not as though the rooms were spectacular, 3 total paintings on wall, old carpet, and weird lighting.
I’ll end on a positive note: the linens were clean, the staff was nice, the location was great for walking, and they did actually allow the dog to be on back patio (not the pool area, but the patio with a lawn and fountain).More
