We stayed at Cayucos Beach Inn with several other couples for the New Year's Day Polar Bear Dip. The Inn is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. They have great coffee and light breakfast fare in the lobby. I love that the Inn is pet friendly. Next time we will have to bring our dog. He would love to explore the beach. The location is close to several good restaurants and a short walk to the beach. I would highly recommend the Cayucos Beach Inn.

As Bay Area/LA family, we've stayed at so many different hotels, motels, inns in Cambria, Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo. This was our first time staying in Cayucos and we really enjoyed our stay in this inn. It's very clean and the staff was really nice. They even called me right after we checked out to let me know my daughter had left her necklace behind (thank you!!).
This is no spa-level luxury hotel, but the cleanliness and price can't be beat. The owners clearly care about giving you a warm stay so you can feel at home in this quaint beach town. Will definitely return!

This was our first time at this hotel after wanting to try it for a long time. Super pet friendly, polite and helpful staff, and a nice little spread of snacks, coffee and tea in the lobby. Our dog double queen room was spacious with a space for the fridge and microwave and in room coffee setup. The complementary towel and blanket for my dog came in handy during the rain storm we experienced. We will definitely be back to this hotel again in the future.

We had such an enjoyable stay at the Cayucos Beach Inn, it is a family-owned Inn and the owners are very personable and friendly. Our room was spacious and clean, it was comfortable and relaxing for a night in after taking our dog to the beach for a great long walk. The beach and many shops and restaurants are within an easy walking distance in the middle of downtown.
The grounds of the Cayucos Beach Inn were very nice as well, and were being decorated for the holidays with all sorts of lights that were very festive at night.
We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We spent a total of 12 nights here in a king suite which had a separate bedroom. We did have to change rooms for the last 2 nights as we added those on after we got there. Some one else had requested the room we were in and they honored that previous request which we really respect. All the staff, and the owner (who was there most days), were friendly and accomodating.
Both our rooms were second floor. Our first room was on the end and had windows in every room that you could see the ocean from. . The room was quiet but there was some early morning street noise. The second room was in the middle of the hotel but you could still see the ocean from the bedroom. The sunset was around 5pm so its not like we would have spent the evenings staring out anyway. This room had less street noise but some outside foot traffic. The rooms are very large and clean with comfortable beds (even the sleeper sofa). With this being a very dog friendly hotel, they do a very good job of cleaning. While the furnishings are older they are well made, we did find the counters a little high.
They had a light breakfast (muffins, pastries and fruit) and nespresso coffee in the lobby all day.
We would certainly stay again if we come back to the area.
