Arrived later in day and check in was seamless. Staff very helpful. Wifi works seamlessly once you get password from reception. My cottage was long way away down path. View down the Paro valley from my balcony is amazing. My cottage was a little rustic with yellowed timber walls but then is part of character. Bed is firm but like a firm bed. If run bath, use hot water only as when runs out the cooler water will make it nice.
Bar is nice with good selection of beers. Restaurant is buffet but food is good for buffet.
We had own transport so it being a little out of way was not an issue.

An old hotel which smells of mould in the rooms. Considered heritage but needs better management of an old property.Ok food n surroundings but definitely not a place I would like to stay again in. Carry your anti allergens if u r staying here.

Hotel rooms are clean but old, however the property is huge and staff is very helpful. Food is priced ok but dishes are average. Local chicken dishes are very nice. Ask for bigger rooms to stay and try and book directly for discounts rather than travel sites.

Its a huge property but poorly maintained. Rooms are well laid out and has wodden cabin type feeling but was bit smelly, we were first alloted rooms in basement which we got shifted to 2nd floor as basement rooms are completely dark. Being heritage property lift was not available. Food was very tasteless. WiFi works only in lobby and restaurant area. Its far away from city center.

Rooms remind me of a 70's mountain cabin. All wood interior but a nice view of the valley. Breakfast and dinner buffet just average. Vegges, noodles but very little meat. They wanted to charge a 60% corkage fee for the wine I wanted to bring. As with other hotels in Bhutan, barking dogs woke me up
