Once we got over our shock that our room was so basic, we grew to love it. The Paro River is just outside, the views are lovely and the manager is very nice. The dining room is beautiful. We read a lot of negative reviews about the food here and I would beg to disagree with them. I found the food to be over abundant, but very good! The vegetables couldn't have been fresher or more varied. I loved the garuda padlock for our door.

We stayed in this property for 2 days in December. On first day we were given delux room which was on first floor of main building...room was very average. On request they agreed to upgrade the room to super deluxe on the next day...this room was much better and newly constructed with all modern amenities...though it is not connected to main building and is little away. Intercom was also not working properly in room...view was very good from the room balcony...

Now coming to Cons :

1) Food : They are really unprofessional when talk about food. On day 1, they served only bread, watermelon, half omelet, milk tea & cornflakes that too after waiting for half hour. ...looking at their services we decided to not eat anything in lunch & dinner on the following day. On day second..when we reach at restaurant we saw 3-4 families were waiting for almost an hour...menu was same as previous day but bread was finished ...everyone was so annoyed that some left without having anything....we waited for an hour & had bread butter...with tea...tea also tasted very bad...worst food
2) Service : no staff , in restaurant also only one lady was working...

This restaurant has real prob with food...if you can manage from outside...then rooms are good for stay...but then do not expect any good service

We had an excellent stay at Reema.Everyone was extremely friendly and we felt at home here. The wooden rooms with a view of the paro valley from the balcony was just too perfect. This resort is best for couples, elders as well as travellers.Enjoy the Bhutan way of life here.

We stayed here with our family
One room had no heating at all and another a broken heater and the staff were oblivious to the issue
The curtains do not cover windows for privacy or to block out morning light
We were told there is an open kitchen and guests watch local food being prepared
Yet none of this applied and the food was the worst we have had in Bhutan - basic pasta
There are much nicer places to stay in Paro and this is not a hotel one can recommend

Stayed: November 2017
