We have been here before many times. Each time is as good if not better than the last. The grounds are beautiful and the service always excellent. The location is the best with the pine trees and the beach.

Bed was horrible (old and unsupportive). Informed the front desk after the first night and tequested a room change. I was told all the beds were the same. Stayed one more night and ended up with a bad back. Great location, kooks good on the outside. Rooms are overpriced based on the interior condition.

Hello,

We are sorry to hear about the discomfort you experienced during your stay and apologize that our team wasn't able to accommodate you better during your stay. Renovations have been paused due to COVID-19, but our beds, as well as other furnishings, have been noted to upgrade when that is possible to do so. We appreciate your patience with this during your stay and hope your back is feeling better! We are happy to hear you enjoyed the location and hope to welcome you back for a second chance in the future.

Best,
Krista

This was our weekend away. And we had never been here before. So it was nice to come here and look around. The hotel was lovely and the town was lovely as well. It was close to the elephant seals. And the Solvang as well. Two other place we visited on our trip.

We took a short trip to Cambria, our fist since Covid and we were very pleased with this Lodge. They upgraded us to a suite and had a very nice breakfast available in the morning. The value was very good, the room was spotless and the staff was obviously taking all the necessary precautions!

Clean and friendly. Peaceful and scenic setting. Nice short drive from the Los Angeles area, and many places to see on the way up and back. Short walk into the Main Street town, although restaurant prices a little pricey. Nice expansive nursery that is fun to walk through.
