This charming little hotel has extremely friendly and hospitable staff. We enjoyed our short stay very much. The terrace offers a great view over the inner city and waterfront. We also enjoyed many of their homemade breakfast treats.
Parking is a bit tricky: Don’t be fooled by the GPS directions. Just head for the akronafplia fortress and you’ll find a parking lot close to the top. It’s a 2 min walk from there to the hotel.

If you’re arriving by car, it’s better to put Efthimiopoulou, 21100 Nafplio in your GPS, which brings you to the back entrance. Otherwise you might find yourself driving up a nerve-wracking and far too narrow road, like we did.
The pension is simply lovely, with great views of the sea and the rooftops of Nafplio from the rooms and from the breakfast terrace. The owners are kind and welcoming, the breakfast is wonderful with a variety of fresh local foods, such as organic homegrown lemons and oranges, spinach pie, egg omelettes, homemade cakes etc. We felt very at home here and loved the city of Nafplio. I would definitely recommend Marianna to anyone visiting. Thank you for your hospitality!

Stayed with wife, daughter, and grandchildren in this charming hotel for two nights. Loved our rooms, friendly hosts, awesome breakfast, and perfect location to use as a base for enjoying Nafplio and touring nearby archaeological and historical sites. It's a special place, would eagerly return.

Room tip: Some rooms require climbing stairs; inquire if that may be an issue for you.

Our stay at Marianna is reflected by so many other comments. Great hospitality from the owners, great breakfast and wonderful rooms. We had a studio with bedroom upstairs and downstairs bath and small kitchen. Everything is clean and well prepared. You will really enjoy this place!

We stayed in Marianna for 2 days to visit Nafplio, Epidavros and Mycenae! We couldn’t ask for a better place, full of charm, character and the most amazing scent of blossoming orange trees! After a small hiccup with the room, everything was resolved very quickly and we really enjoyed the place! The breakfast terrace is really beautiful place to start the day with some fresh lemonade, coffee and nice breakfast! Owners are welcoming and very friendly! Great place to experience greek hospitality!
