Another great stone structure in Mandu. Located outside of town, near the Malwa Retreat, the place reminded me of "Ozymandias"
and the line - "Look on my works, oh ye mighty, and despair!" Not much left though.

This mosque is in the same monument complex as Jahal Mahal and served as a mosque for the royal Mughal family. If you are being accompanied by a guide, he would show carvings on the pillars inside that are similar to Jain architecture. There is an option to go upto the roof of the mosque and the views of the surrounding area is very nice. Some cleaning work by ASI had been carried out here so you might find one section as bright and clean while the opposite side walls would be black. Unfortunately the clean work has weakened the structure resulting in chips and small cracks.

In the same premises as Jahaj and Hindola etc., this place has beautiful structures. Although a mosque it has many of the statues representing Jain monks.

Must visit for history lovers.
