I was there with my wife and my two small kids. We had such a great relaxing time. Enough space, good quality bungalow, nice pool, great beach. Nothing missing! The staff was always smiling and in a good mood always willing to help us with anything and I don't know what to tell, just ALL PERFECT. Thank you Anyavee for giving us this great time!

Room Tip: "If you want privacy and space, use the bungalow, especially when you like Jacuzzi" "To longtail boats in front at the beach are to hire.

Stayed at Anyavee for 4 nights, travelling with a 1 and 3 year old. We were checked into a sea view room with a spa bath fairly quickly upon arrival.

Rooms
Spacious and very clean! Awesome sunsets from the balcony. The outdoor spa was made to good use on our second last day as it was raining. Kept the kids entertained with a nice bubble bath.

Beach
Best thing we loved about Anyavee was its direct access to the beach. We were on the beach after breakfast within 3 mins. Soft sand and clear, calm waters made it a perfect place for the kids to play around. There are also long tail boats within the hotel beach area offering good prices for day trips to the Islands. We went to Hong beach with was about 20 mins away, paying 2000 baht for 4 pax. Hong beach is a must if you have kids..

Service
We were very pleased with the service levels of the Anyavee staff. They saw to all our requests promptly and with lots of smiles. During breakfast we also noticed the managers speaking to the guests to find out more about their stay, which i thought was a nice touch. One of them offered for the kitchen to make porridge daily for our kids, which again was very thoughtful of them. We were extremely pleased with the level of service.

Surrounding Areas
There are plenty of very good local restaurants about 2-5 mins drive away. We had a car and would recommend it if you intend to head out for food. Almost all the restaurants had very good thai food. If you're into late night drinks, theres an Irish bar and a local bar with a live band that stays open late. Those into reggae music have to check out Lazy Bar...One of the coolest hippe bars I've been to.
Ao Nang was about 20 mins drive, and we also went to the night market which was about 40 mins from the hotel. Awesome place to go to for nice street food and live music. Can't remember the name of the street but the hotel will be able to point it out

Overall I would highly recommend Anyavee if you are travelling with kids. And be sure to get a room with an outdoor spa just incase it rains, as you can't do much in Krabi if it does. The only thing we thought could be improved was breakfast, as you don't get much variety but we didn't mind it as there were plenty of good local restaurants close by. We loved the place so much we will hope to go back again next year.

Room Tip: rooms with outdoor spa bath is a must

Lovely resort, great location opening straight onto the beach.
We booked a room with direct pool access - which was a nice novelty.
The room was nice, ours didn't really have views but we didn't ask for them.
Breakfast was included, and pretty good. There's also a beachside restaurant offering lunch/dinner which had good food and was pretty affordable.
Only negative in hindsight, Tubkaek Beach is a bit far from anything (20min drive to Ao Nang).
The hotel offers transfer to Ao Nang in the evening (return 400 baht pp), and a private car is only 600 baht to go at any time - so depending on what you want and where else you're staying on your trip - this isn't a bad spot to relax for the last couple of days.

Very pleasant stay here at the Anyavee. It is about 45 mins from the airport and tucked away on the northern part of Krabi. No shops or restaurants nearby and quite isolated. the reception and check was very professional and quick. A welcome drink and a quick form and we were escorted to out room. Sea view room was VERY big with all amenities. They had a big balcony with a bath tub in. I have to be honest. I didn't feel like anyone would be overly comfortable taking a bath there as it wasn't exactly private and you would be seen. So unless they provide more privacy it is a bit of a pointless exercise in my opinion. We actually were able to receive internet connection from our room even though they stipulated it was only available in reception, restaurant and pool areas. Average internet reception. We did not use room service. Food at the beach side restaurant was actually very good as long as you stuck to local dishes. Considering you have no other choices as to eating they did not charge exceptionally high prices. Beers where just a bit more than local shops so they made the effort to keep the cost down. But they do make up for it in other areas . I.E. They supply a shuttle bus service to Ao Nang at THB 400 each way. But then you have to go on them as taxis / tuk tuk's charge even more. AoNang is about 20 mins away by minibus. Good for couples to have a change of scenery as Anyavee is DEAD at night. Upside is that you do get a very peaceful nights sleep. Ideal for couples on a short long weekend break, or after a hectic visit elsewhere. Great chill out place ...lovely beach and waters and a good place to visit neighbouring islands like Koh Landing etc Local boats on the beach ( in front of the hotel ) charge a bit less than those in Ao Nang ...so that isn't bad either. Would I come back ? Yes. ..no issue there. Staff are lovely. Food wasn't bad at all for hotel food. Breakfast wasn't the best in my opinion ...but better than others we have been to. It comes under my ' I would recommend friends to go there '' list

Room Tip: Sea views are pleasant

The resort -
The view is amazing. The resort is set between a mountain and the ocean on a beautiful beach. The water was very calm and there were no jelly fish as opposed to some of the other Thailand beaches I've been to. The atmosphere was very peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the town of Ao Nang. We were there 5 nights and only ventured into town 1 time and that was enough. The service was maybe the best I have ever seen. It was low season (September), so they were able to give us special attention, but I could tell they are trained very well. We originally chose this hotel, because they had a room that could accommodate our family of 4, but the hotel actually has 10 different room types to choose from. The 2 pools were great and the restaurant is reasonably priced and has a variety of well done western and Thai dishes.

The room -
We stayed in the Delux Family room and I can't think of a single thing to complain about it. It was very nice!

Booking Tours-
Krabi is a great place to not only relax at the resort and on the beach, but to go on excursions. The hotel will make the arrangements for you.
Our favorite was the Hong Islands tour by long tail boat. Our family were the only people on the boat, but there were lots of other tourists at the Islands, but we set out at 8:30 a.m. and actually had the first island all to ourselves for half and hour or so before the others arrived. It was one of the most breathtakingly beautiful spots I've ever been to. Snorkeling was amazing except for the jelly fish stings. They hurt for a day, but we all thought it was worth it, even my 7 year old son!
We also did the Kayaking tour through the caves in the mountains, also beautiful and fun. You can even see ancient cave drawings. We thought it was overpriced and we had to go as part of a large group. So the long tail boat ride is a better bang for your buck. We booked the full day tour of the caves which included a surprise stop at a swimming hole and a lunch which were the only additional things we got more than the half day group. I would recommend the half day tour, you won't miss anything.
