We booked on the the cottages right on the beach and the view and stay was amazing. Cottage was bit of an old beach shack but was very cute, which added to its charm. we could if we wanted to cook our own meals. Was however clean and a top spot

This place is true value for money. We stayed in one of the beach cottages and truly felt like we are on an island. The sunset views are amazing and the sound of the ocean in the evening soothing. There are no aircons in these units, but fitted with a ceiling and floor stand fan.

Its a bit far out of town but they offer really cheap and trustworthy scooter rental. The restaurant does take long as the kitchen is run by the 2 ladies who are the receptionist and managers too. Just book your dinner a hour in advance.

All in all I will definitely recommend Casa de la Playa if you want some nice peace and quiet.

2 stars come from the room and amazing homemade bread.

We have travelled in Philippines for 2 months, and this place was one of the worst we stayed in.

We chose this place to relax at the beach and just do nothing before starting to travel to other places again.

We were expecting a nice white beach with clear waters because of the pictures we saw in their website, but the beach was filled with pieces of coral, rocks, seaweed and glass. Water was brown and looked disgusting.

Food and drinks at the restaurant were expencive comparing to other places in Philippines. Also portions were quite small. 1 liter of water cost 45 pesos. Homemade bread and youghurt were really good! There is no small snacks at the restaurant. Coffee was really bad, no matter if it was instant or brewed it tasted like water. One morning we got a decent coffee but other mornings it was just bad.

I think the services at the hotel are a little too pricey, billiard 1h for 150php, massage 400php and yoga class was something around 400-500php, motorbike was 350php for one day. Also laundry was not priced in kilos, but according to things you wanted to get washed.

Although, our room was very nice and spacious! Water pressure was OK (only cold water) and WiFi was working.

I can’t recommed this place if you want to swim or do sunbathing, because the beach is not good for that. It's also very far from everything.

We intended to stay at Casa de la Playa for 2 days, but after missing the ferry ended up staying for 3 (I can’t thank the resort driver enough for whisking us from one pier to the next in attempt to catch the other ferry). The food was delicious and varied, the staff very helpful and accomodating, the property eclectic, comfortable and quiet, and the beach was filled with the most beautiful coral and tide pools teaming with life. We rented the scooter from the resort to find waterfalls around the island and just explore. The internet was slow in the rooms, but functional. The water pressure was less than ideal, but again, not a major problem. It was a bit troublesome that they only accepted cash, but again they accommodated us and allowed us to send money back with the driver who took us to an ATM at the pier. I could not recommend this quiet little spot on Siquijor any more.

It's very secluded and away from restaurants and the poblacion but because of that you'll find the most peaceful and refreshing place with the best sunset in Siquijor. Bdw, I got a free upgrade. Thanks!
