We were initially booked here last Friday, October 17, for an overnight stay. It's a small six-room house converted to a bed and breakfast hotel. It made a good initial impression -- beautiful garden, homey interiors, and spacious rooms with clean beds. In totality, the house itself is very good-looking with all the indigenous decorations.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel our reservation on the day itself because there was a misunderstanding with our booking which was through Agoda.com. We booked three De Luxe rooms because the site indicated that all guest rooms featured showers and TVs. But when we got there, we found out that only three De Luxe rooms had showers/comfort rooms and TVs while the other three rooms (family rooms, according to the receptionist) had shared comfort room. One of the rooms that I saw had no TV.
Sadly, they put us in the family rooms and we did not really want a shared comfort room. The owner, however, was gracious enough to help us find another place where we can spend the night. He even drove us to the hotel, hence, was able to make up for the slight hassle and confusion. Still good customer service but I think they need to update their description in Agoda.com.More
