If your looking for a hotel in Legazpi with basic amenities, Emerald Boutique is good. It is located near the capitol of Albay (walking distance) and accessible to jeepneys with daraga-legazpi route. Building is up to 4th floor without elevator which is just ok with me as i prefer walking but i have not seen a pwd access to the 2nd-4th floor. Front desk clerk are accommodating. Room is basic and it is clean but the linen is thin, which i guess, is super thin. A thicker sheet is better though. Their accommodation includes breakfast. The kitchen staff are friendly however the tinapa fish which i ordered was quite salty. But when you have an early, your breakfast is forfeited. Breakfast starts from 6am. So i requested the staff to kindly pack my breakfast at 6am or even earlier so i will just eat it on my way to the airport or while waiting for my boarding. Unluckily, its forbidden. So, here comes a customer service suggestions. When packing breakfast is just a seldom request of a client, and in consideration of the following: it is a food for a hungry stomach, flight is early and packing the food will just be done around 5:45-6am, and the breakfast is already inclusive in your stay; hence, i cannot understand why it can not be serve to a guest unless they have a grab to go food in their counter. I think the incident is an opportunities for improvement on the part of the hotel. Whenever i stay in a hotel, I ensure that my green practice is done anyway.
Since i did not witness the breathtaking beauty of Mt. Mayon (its so cloudy), ill be back to Legazpi City definitely.

I chose this hotel because of the strategic location. The location is in Old Albay district, just walking distance from many food places as well as the Albay Cathedral. The location is about 300 kms walk from the main road and few kilometers from Legazpi City.

This is a small hotel and if you like a bigger room for two, don't get the cheapest (sorry forget the names of the rooms in the booking site). The room itself is clean and the pillows are nice as well as the bed. I've never been to a hotel with so much toiletries except in this hotel.

Breakfast is basic Filipino food and have limited choices. Those guests who are not Filipinos be ready to eat rice and processed meat for breakfast. Staff are friendly as well as the security guards.

Note: The hotel does not have a lift or elevator. Location is just few minutes away from the airport.

Room - we got the smaller standard room but with a balcony. Bed and pillows are amazing, just like the ones in more expensive hotels. Bathroom is clean and everythinv works. Toiletry is really nice.

Location - near the church and the main plaza but further away from the shopping areas such as Ayala Center. Just walking distance though is a good variety of resturants and few fast food chains like Jollibee and Bicol's Bigg's Diner.

We stayed in the Hotel for one night coming from Manila via land trip of our newly purchased Montero Sport to be traveled back home in GenSan. The room is very nice, compy and relaxing. Their breakfast food are just quite okay. Staff are courteous. Facilities are new and safe.

We stayed there for my mom’s birthday, staffs are very accommodating especially the the janitor outside the hotel who keeps smiling and helped us with our bags.
Breakfast is okay but it would be better if they serve hot choco and tea and also improve their free breakfast like some filipino breakfast (eg. dried fish or bangus).
Rooms were nice and secured with keyless.
