+ We got a very large room with 4 beds to accommodate our overnight stay for our family of 4 (including 2 teenagers); saving us some money because other hotels asked us to get 2 separate rooms. Room was spacious even if it had 4 beds.

+ The bathroom layout was perfect to allow 3 people to use it simultaneously because the shower and toilet had their own glass doors separating them from the sink.

+ Front desk was helpful in assisting our teenagers receive their fast food deliveries from the delivery boys...while their parents were out.

- Refrigerator in our room was out of order. It had a foul smell when we opened it. We complained, but they insisted it was working. However, for some reason, their maintenance staff showed up at our door about an hour later with a replacement refrigerator.

- The shower could only provide very hot water; no cold water. So it was difficult to take a shower.

- Pool is advertised to be heated. But only the small shallow pool was heated, not the lap pool.

Rating could have been 5 stars if not for the refrigerator and shower.

Staff are very friendly and our room was clean & spacious. The food is not terrible but I wouldn’t call it delicious either - and it’s quite expensive (i reckon we paid for the room service & not for the actual food). Terrible noise from the other guest. We told the front desk and I dont think they did something as the noise continued every night. It would be nice to remind their guest to be considerate upon check-in and put a sign on their hallways. I dont think I will stay here again because I’m wary of the noise from other guest.

It's welcoming...with pretty chandeliers and giant vases with real plants and flowers. The space is dotted with different seating arrangements that make for a relaxing ambiance. Just off the left side is their small resto where we had breakfast, and also were we ordered the yummy tawilils pizza!

There is an openness to the building design, which made me feel lighthearted. Our room had a small veranda (which had a faucet with running water - imagine that!) that opened to a sizeable patch of grassland with a handful of cows happily grazing or resting all day long.

At night, the lights from the nearby amusement park were almost out of place in the general darkness of nature - increasingly a rarity in this fast developing area of Tagaytay.

Bathrooms were clean and the beds comfy. Wifi signal in the rooms can be patchy, but the staff were kind enough to explore ways to make sure we had signal.

All in all, I think this is one of the better hotels we've stayed in in Tagaytay.

Room tip: choose the one that doesn't face the highway

Pros
-Accessibility
-Common areas and room are spacious
-Staff were all courteous
-My husband and I like the idea of temperature controlled pool, however it's still a bit cold for our little one.
-Nice ambience from the outside, at the lobby and pool area
-Parking was spacious

For Improvement
-Recommending to add a nice instrumental background music at the lobby that will add warmth to the experience
-Complimentary breakfast can still be improved (in terms of taste)
