I just want to share our nice experience with DAJ Suites. The location is really relaxing even without a view of the Taal Lake, as what most travelers are expecting upon checking-in to Tagaytay's Inns and Hotels. Perfect for those people who's into staycations. The staffs of the the boutique hotel is really kind and generous. Whenever we need something (in our case, bottle cap opener, plastic bags and extra plates), they don't hesitate to provide it. For me, this is an amazing thing due to most of the hotels and resorts charges the guest if they need to borrow something. The room itself is huge and cozy. They have mini-refrigerator and television. Toiletries are complete. The thermostat of the the showers and faucet is properly working. The bath tub is the highlight of the comfort room as it provides a relaxing vibe MOST ESPECIALLY for couples <3 The indoor pool is clean. You will not smell any scent of chlorine upon using it. For me, the highlight of our stay is the breakfast. They really provide a free breakfast with a fair serving and unlimited brewed coffee. However, they also need to improve something: 1. The signal of the cable. On our whole 22 hours of stay, we experienced cable signal problem of about 4-5 times. 2. The water flow is quite weak on the last 2 hours of our stay. Maybe because most guests are using the comfort...I just want to share our nice experience with DAJ Suites.

If I will have a chance (and budget also HAHA) to go back in tagaytay, I will definitely stay at Daj Suites, again and again.

affordable place for a quick stay

It was okay. they have a small indoor pool. The room has a king size bed! Downside was the washroom, there is a leak in the sink. Wifi is accessible only at the lobby. What I really love about Daj is their service of unlimited amadeo barako coffee! Staff are friendly most especially Kevin. :-)

Lack of management and security

Its been a while since I done a review. But I would like to warn those who are planning to stay in Tagaytay .

DON't EvEr Book in this hotel if you want to have a good sleep.

THEY ALLOWED OTHER GUESTS TO MAKE LOUD NOISES (DRINKING SPREE AND SWIMMING) in wee hours at night between 12am to 5am.
AND TAKE NOTE We are on the second floor of their building. BUT YOU CAN HEAR the NOISES just as loud as you are staying beside the pool like you are very near the pool area.

And All they can do was to scold the guests. They even told the owner about it and all the reception can say is the owner is out of town.

Presently we are staying in this hotel because we already paid. We CAN'T REFUND. THEY DId NOT compensate for the SLEEP that we lost.

Horrible Boutique Hotel!

Great location, Excellent Customer Service, meals are delicious!

Daj is perfectly located to access by either private or public transportation. Extremely friendly , and courteous staff especially “Marge” & “Karen”. We had a unique hospitality service- staff was super nice and accomodating ..... they loved our children too ! Rooms are clean,spacious and comfortable..... We always look forward to their flavorful breakfast! We would definitely stay here again.... By the stay our 2 weeks stay was the BEST EVER !

Not recommended to family and friends

First off, hotel isnt visible from the hiway, you'll have to take a close watch so you dont miss it. Second, front desk ladies are not as nice as we expect. They had us print the booking voucher which was so much hassle because where the hell are we going to have it printed? And it was midday, we dont have our own car. They almost never let us in without it but then they later agree but demanded we give the copy of the voucher not later than the evening. Given that we already have an email confirmation of our booking so i was thinking confidently they're just gonna ask me for the booking id but what happened was as horrible as ive never imagined. Third off, we were never guided to the pool area, we have to find it ourselves. Fourth, we were only given 3in1 coffee and not the barako coffee we long to taste, i never Bothered to ask why - i was so pissed that i lose energy to argue with them. Tv signal went off around 11pm and never came up and running until the next morning. Ugh! No telephone nor intercom available so you have to walk your way to the frontdesk each time you need something and this doesnt make the hotel stay convenient and stress-free. On a positive note, though the room isnt as spacious as what it displays on the website, it was clean. Beds and linen are lovely and neat. T&b is fine too; complete toiletries with bathrobe and slippers. Generally, i dont likely to recommend this to anyone.

Our home away from home...

The very first day Daj Suites became operational until this very moment, we've witnessed the improvement everytime we visit the what we called "home away from home".

The amenities are the only change that we've seen hence the warmth welcome, cozy ambiance, peaceful environment and trusted staffs especially "Kate" remain the same. These are the reasons why whenever we wanted to relax,be
relieved from stress and celebrate special occasion, we never had our second thought because there will always be one and only accomodation in tagaytay that we would love to spend to-- Daj Suites.
