I have passed by Taal Vista Hotel quite a number of times before, but I have never set foot on this beautiful property. Anyone who has been to Taal Vista Hotel would say that it offers one of, if not the best view of Taal Lake from its view deck. So imagine my excitement when I was given the chance to stay here for two nights, as well as taste the offerings of Café Veranda and Taza Fresh Table. When we got to our room, I was surprised at how beautiful and enormous it was. We were assigned to their Premier King room in the Lake Wing, a 38-square meter bedroom with a king-sized bed, a really huge bathroom, and a balcony that has a breathtaking view of the lake. The bathroom had complete amenities, including a bathtub, towels, and toiletries. It was so big that you can sleep there! It was the perfect room for two tired travelers!
One of the main reasons why Taal Vista Hotel has remained a favorite all these years are the people behind it. I can attest to their genuine kindness and concern from the time we arrived in Tagaytay until we went back to Manila.
A number of renovations and 76 years of top notch service later, Taal Vista Hotel continues to innovate and provide world-class facilities that make guests come back again and again.

We tried once and we won't try again ...

Hôtel was fully booked... so we haven't enjoyed much and staff was kinda rude at the reception ... probably because of the activity but still ... the room was ok ..

Sitting in front of the Taal Lake, this hotel offers the most picturesque view of the Taal Volcano and is perfect for some good selfie shots.

The rooms are basic and the breakfast is so-so considering the price.

Well manicured landscape and courteous staff doesnt compensate for 1) the inconvenient layout that requires guests from Lake View to walk to the other side of your hotel just to have breakfast 2) underpowered AC (esp this time of the year) and misleading price advertisment. Definitely not worth spending 8k for a night at your hotel.

When we arrived the reception kept us waiting for 25 minutes to resolve some booking problem on their system. No apology or offer to sit down and wait. Our room 125 was in the mountain wing but no view or mountain or lake - just 2 air conditioning units. Such a pity as views from many of the rooms was amazing. However we were only staying a couple of nights and the room was good. At breakfast there was a good choice and the croissants were exceedingly good, also the hot chocolate rice. Pleasant terrace.
In the evening we went into the next door park. Great sunset view there.
