You really need to stay a night!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Apr 8, 2022
You really do need to stay a night or two so you can relax and just take in the great view of Taal Lake.

The suites are really large and you won't be bumping into anyone while in there.

The staff will really go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your start. Personalized welcome letter? Neat. Wine for a nightcap? Sweet. Chocolates and other freebies for the young ones? Cool.

The mattress, beddings, and everything else is first class. You also get safety helmets with lights in case there is an emergency.

The restos within the place are nice and have variety, you got italian, a coffee shop, a cake shop, an all rounder. And if those don't tickle your fancy, you can go outside and everything is within 1-2 minutes of you (Starbucks, Leslie's, Max, etc.).

Everyone loved it here, especially the kids. We plan to return, maybe during the summer!
Date of stay: March 2022
Room Tip: I like the suite to the far left (TV has Netflix :P) and it's closest to the emergency exit.

The size of the room & bathroom, mattress, beddings, towels, and furniture are all top-notch. The room was clean and smelled good. We appreciated the handwritten note and the goodies they gave us. The staff were friendly and attentive. As for the breakfast they served, it was delicious. It was definitely more interesting than your usual buffet-style breakfast. The only noticeable lapses that they made are: 1) there was no bidet or dipper in the toilet; and 2) there wasn’t enough bathrobes prepared for all of us beforehand. We had to request it. But overall, we had a pleasant stay. We look forward to coming back in the near future.

Disconnect to Reconnect.

We chose to stay at Inn At Cliffhouse Tagaytay for our first leisure trip after 21 long months in this pandemic. We were very particular as to where to stay as we were staying vigilant still and wanted to feel safe - away from fully booked and sought after resorts and hotels - yet with the benefit of some premium amenities and personalized service.

The Inn did NOT disappoint.

If you are looking for value for money, one of a kind accommodation, consistent and genuine hospitality partnered with great food, this is THE place.

I won’t delve into the details - read the excellent reviews of their other guests. You’ll read a lot about how beautiful, comfortable and private the suites are. You’ll also read about Johnny (the great innkeeper)! I also have to acknowledge Elkey, their very warm and attentive receptionist, and Jennifer who went above and beyond in answering all my queries in Messenger and have extended a lot of help to make our stay memorable. She and her staff truly made our disconnecting from our daily lives possible and simply amazing!

I finally got the chance to stay at The Inn in Oct 2021 after several reschedules due to the pandemic and the Taal alert level.

When I finally checked in on a Friday afternoon - Johnny, the inn keeper, knew me by name. Check in was a breeze - my partner and I were the only overnight guests for that day. He personally showed us to the room and explained all the amenities, house rules and what to do in case of emegencies.

The West Quoddy suite was 100+ sqm of luxury and comfort. The entrance was private and down a flight of stairs. The red palette added coziness to the room. The room had 2 queen beds and will fit a group of 4. But rather than the size of the room or the private jacuzzi in your patio with your private view of Taal - what amazed me was the personal touches and the amazing hospitality. There was a personal letter from Johnny welcoming you to The Inn. There was a bag of goodies (complimentary) -popcorn and chocolates - when we arrived. The contents of the minibar are complimentary.
The bed was comfortable - extra pillows and sleep quality was perfect. The bathroom was huge with rain shower - though a bidet needs to be added.

The location is perfect as well. In the same complex - there are several restaurants, a cafe and pasalubong center.

Breakfast the next day was wonderful. 3 courses - starter, mains of sausages and potato, and lovely desert. Though Filipino breakfast as an option should be made available next time.

I have stayed in Tagaytay several times before and The Inn was definetely the best one I stayed in. Luxury. Comfort. Top notch service and hospitality. Worth every peso. I was looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway and The Inn delivered. To Johnny - thank you for your top notch service!!! Will definitely stay here again. - K & E

Yes! It was the best staycation. 😁 the kids enjoyed our stay and we never felt unsafe.

My kids felt that we are really dining out when we were eating at the reception area (breakfast salon). My eldest(9 years old) cried at first because of overjoy haha. We really didn't eat outside since the pandemic.

Our family had a VIP experience and I really commend Johnny and the curly girl in the reception (forgot her name ☹) for the treatment.

This staycation is really worth the money. For sure, we are going back and we will try the other suites.

We love the food. The full breakfast is really awesome. The steak in Fire Lake Grill is super delicious; we ordered it for two consecutive nights. 😁

The room is spacious. The view of taal lake and volcano is magnificent. Every is clean and the scents are just amazing. But what really stood out are the great effort from the inn keeper Johnny to make our stay as pleasant and memorable as possible. The personalised letters, greeting, and items as well as the sincere desire to fulfil requests is what really stands out. We will definitely be back.
