My sister reserved the room around October, since we are a family of 5 we chose the Allure as it has 2 bedrooms with dining area and kitchen. It was our first time to book at this hotel so I did not know what to expect. So the day before going there,I read some of the reviews, and it was really not encouraging as most of it was unencouraging. Still I was hopeful. We arrived around 11 am, so we knew that we were early. To pass the time we had lunch in their restaurant, Amancena. The servers especially Trisha was very attentive. The food is all right, we enjoyed the corned beef bulalo which was very tender. After an hour my sister asked the front desk if we can have an early check in since my Mom is already tired from the long trip, unfortunately, the guests have not checked out yet. And she was told that we have to wait for 2 pm since they are very strict with that policy. We did not mind and passed the time in the restaurant. When 2 pm came we promptly went to the front desk and my sister asked if we can now go to the room assigned to us. The front desk girl told my sister that there might be a delay because the previous occupant had a late check out because they were friends of the owner of the hotel so they cannot do anything about it. Time check at 2:15 we were still in the lobby, my other sister called for the manager, Ms. Tabuyo. Unfortunately for us,Ms. Tabuyo did not even sincerely apologize for what happened, her tone of voice when talking to my sister is conveying we are being unreasonable because we cannot wait for a room we PAID for. Instead of pacifying us, she made us more upset with her explanation as why the room is stiil not ready and why it was delayed. I met many hotel managers in the places we stayed in and I have high regards. But she was so disappointing because she made us feel like we were unreasonable.
Going to the room itself, another disappointment, 2 bedrooms but only one cabinet. The other room is like an afterthought, and you are just suppose to leave your clothes in your luggage. Blinds of the windows not working, stove not working,so why put one?! One bathroom has a constant leak. We did not report anymore as we were disappointed already and the attitude of the manager was upsetting so we just know we will not be coming back. We charged it to experience.

The silver linings to this experience are the bellboy who had continuously apologize for what happened. The waitstaff during the breakfast buffet,Ardel just like Trisha was very attentive and had continuously informed us of what can we eat during the breakfast service.

Please train your front desk staff to be more accommodating and warm, they are NOT friendly and welcoming.

Not recommending this place to anyone and will NOT even attempt to book here again.

This is my second time to stay in this hotel. The place is ok - bed, room space, comfort room. The food is ok, too. We also tried the food in their restaurant and it was nothing spectacular. My main issue during our stay was that we were booked in a connecting room with a group of friends having a vacation. Although the connecting doors stayed locked, their noise can be heard throughout our room and even in the corridors. I was with a big group and we booked around 25 rooms that time. Our rooms were scattered in the building with some people on their vacation in between us. We cannot help but complain about their noise. But then again, we cannot blame them since they are on vacation. Front desk should have placed people out on business together and those on their vacation on a separate floor. Half the time we were there, we were sleepless since our neighbours were drinking until wee hours in the morning. If you stay here, inform the front desk that you want peace and quiet, if you can. People at the front desk are not very accommodating also.

Too Expensive for what its worth! Their lobby needs some deep cleaning. Terrible experience at their spa! We were ripped off! Paid for an hour long massage but got a 30minute long only. Never going back.

My husband and I tried to surprise my kids for an overnight stay in Tagaytay. But I guess, we were the one surprised by the facilities and service of the hotel.

I proceeded to front desk to process my reservation. Unfortunately, they couldnt find my reservation on the system (same case with one of the reviews). But its okay, I myself is also an associate, we also RARELY experience the same things.

Missing out my reservation may be fine, but getting a smile from the doorman or front desk clerks is a NO-NO for me. They are frontliners, they should always cater positive attitude. Kudos to the masseuses who express politeness than them.

So we went to our room and find them really unmaintained. Watermarks on the wallpaper, unrefurbished wardrobe, minibar ref with nothing on it and strolling german cockroach.

We are quite happy with the breakfast even it shares the same amount with adult (my sons are 6 and 11y/o).

But really, hotel associates should always have positive behavior. or maybe because we just paid for a promo rate. Php3,400 is not cheap either

Lets take care of our customers, they are the source of every cent in our hotel

Check in aug 25 2019, upon walking in the front desk staff not very accommodating, looks like they hated their job. Upon entering the room wallpaper is stain and old even the sofa has stain on it, the worst is curtains are only glass curtains woke up around 640am by the blinding light. My advice just don't check in here prices isn't that cheap either
